We support young talents – Let’s Code contest

The IIIrd edition of programming contest Let`s Code is over! The results have officialy been announced on the 2nd of December! 

 

The third edition of the Let’s Code 2016 programming contest was held on the 19th and 20th of November. The rival teams competed for 24 hours to create the best application. The teams had to choose one of three themes: (1) an application supporting local security, (2) a social networking application, (3) a business application.

The applications have been initially evaluated by a jury consisting of both people with technical knowledge as well as those assessing the usefulness of the application from the point of view of potential users. The teams that presented their application at the local stage were admitted to voting at the national level.

The winning team which was FriendlyChallenge from Katowice received a cash prize.

 

 

The contest organised by Sii was held simultaneously in eight cities: Warsaw, Gdansk, Wroclaw, Poznan, Krakow, Lodz, Lublin and Katowice.

In the first stage of the contest, the members of the best teams in each of the eight cities received SoundLink headphones by Bose. In the second stage, the authors of the winning application received from Sii a cash prize of 10 000 PLN ” says Magdalena Łojek, Junior Communications Specialist, one of the coordinators of the contest.

To all the teams – thank you for your participation and for your unstoppable fighting spirit! We already are looking forward to the next edition of Let`s Code, see you in one year!
