For one of our customers in the railway industry, we are looking for HW Designer in Stockholm. You will be responsible for HW design, development, design verification and modification of existent and new functionalities, for industrial real-time embedded SIL4 applications.

Requirements:

• Strong experience with hardware systems and excellent knowledge of board design including power design, analog design, digital interfaces, design with CPU such as ARM Cortex, design with FPGAs, EMC, PCB
• Experience in: Circuit simulation with PSpice / LTSpice, High-end PCB/PBA design tools i.e Cadence
• Basic knowledge working with PDM systems
• Experience in the development of products in harsh environments and Safety-Critical Development. e.g., EN 50126/8/9, IEC 61508, ISO 26262
• C programming or other scripting programming languages 
• Digital Design with VHDL in FPGAs 
• Fluent English is mandatory
• Good Swedish is a plus 

• Development of the overall product hardware architecture
• Prepare Technical documentation for product design and production
• Breaking down system-level requirements to the hardware level
• Identify and offer the best solutions to complex hardware related issues
• Demonstrate excellent knowledge and experience of electronics design principals
• Supervision and leadership of core / non-core HW design work packages
