We’re looking for a Merchandising, Apparel & Gadget Lead to provide Polonia Warszawa’s fans and Sii workers with great-quality apparel, merchandising & gadgets and in the future offer them to the public. The person holding this position will be responsible for every step in the process, from product development, e-commerce shops management, customer service, logistics to marketing!

Manage the apparel/gadget & merchandising unit for both Sii & Polonia 

• Manage our merchandising & gadget Business Unitsfor both Sii & Polonia:
  • Sii: deliver attractive/good-quality apparel & gadgets to Sii workers (for free during special events or on-boarding process – budget HR – or sold with no profit via our e-commerce platform)
  • Polonia: create & sell merchandising & apparel to Polonia’s fans & deliver profit to Polonia, optimizing the functioning of the merchandising Business Unit
• Manage sales, business development, marketing
  • Promote and grow business. Increase revenue, profits and maximize customers satisfaction
  • Develop a pricing strategy that maximizes profits and revenue
  • Manage selling via our Polonia website & Sii’s intranet – e-commerce tool. Physical selling at Polonia’s stadium during matchdays + every day in our Czarna Koszula bar
  • Manage marketing efforts. Develop our marketing strategy and marketing plans. Manage online marketing activities, including advertising campaigns, various promotions, photoshoots, video production, graphic design
  • Optimize SEM and customer service activities as well as work of internet analysts, content specialists, photographers and photo editors. Create e-commerce content. Be responsible for social media communication for Polonia’s brand, e-commerce copywriting and other types of support related to online brand communication
  • Create a comfortable shopping experience for Sii workers & Polonia’s customers. Ensure products are presented most appealingly
• Manage products, product creation, product purchasing:
  • Design collections. Lead the design/development process from briefs/ideas/requirements to product building, RFPs to suppliers, orders & selling
  • Manage relations with production suppliers, signing contracts with the best price/quality suppliers &best purchasing terms & conditions
  • Define product prices
• Manage logistics
  • Plan order delivery, track completion and arrange transport of goods to clients
  • Optimize warehouse management. Supervise stock inventory
  • Prepare sales plans for upcoming sales seasons. Draft the purchasing budget and plan supplies
  • Create reports (Power BI dashboard) on the completion of plans, orders, warehouse deliveries and complaints and other KPIs
  • Search for new solutions to further improve the supply chain
• Manage customer service
  • Ensure efficient customer service (emails, phone calls) & maximize customers satisfaction. Resolve customer complaints
  • Build positive relations with Sii workers & Polonia’s fans. Regularly obtain feedback, criticism, interesting ideas, improvement proposals
  • Build and improve the perception of Sii’s & Polonia’s merchandising & strengthen brand awareness

Manage day-to-day operations, finance, administration & business activities

• Lead and manage the unit. Oversee all operations to ensure that the unit runs smoothly
• Grow the revenue and increase profits, expanding our customer base and optimizing selling prices
• Manage the unit’s budget, finance & cash flow/liquidity
• Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to acquire the most cost-effective products & services and to reduce expenses. Control costs. Seek ways to cut waste and decrease operational costs
• Maintain proper data registration, statistical and financial records. Keep a meticulous record of income and expenses. Handle administration and paperwork. Control financial transactions
• Solve everyday problems, troubleshooting (ideally predict problems and risks before they occur)
