We are looking for a Release Train Manager who will be responsible for planning, timing, and execution of delivery plans and pipelines within and across domain platforms in the financial industry. The primary responsibility of this position will be to align vision, manage risk, and coordinate the work of multiple teams by ensuring synchronization between them and domains in delivering portfolio and relevant business value.

• Develop and maintain the product release process
• Ensure continuous improvement of the product release process through various channels (automation, streamlining deployment phases, and development cycle management)
• Improve the agility and value of release training to end customers
• Manage and optimize the business value flow of delivered programs using agile tools and techniques
• Plan and control releases and iterative planning cycles
• Lead a team by preparing release and sprint vision and goals and work schedules
• Execute and deliver business outcomes, features, and capabilities
• Lead meetings on synchronization and dependencies across teams, value streams, and domains
• Collaborate and coordinate with Product Owners, domain and platform leaders, and other stakeholders to ensure strategy and execution compliance
• Report to Program/Portfolio and Release Management leadership and supports related activities
• Provide training to leaders and teams on understanding and continuous improvement of Lean, Agile, and Continuous Delivery methods
• Proactively identify and effectively manage and/or escalate conduct risks to achieve key customer outcomes
• Ensure appropriate controls are in place to mitigate risk: balancing control, customer service, and competitive advantage
• Ensure organizational culture supports sustainable risk decisions and compliance with policies, laws, and regulations

• At least 3 years of experience in project management
• Great engineering, collaboration, and communication skills
• Experience with service-based application architectures
• Understanding of modern architecture patterns such as digital, microservices, and PaaS
• Significant Agile experience including tools as well as techniques such as continuous integration
• Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
• Knowledge of DevOps approaches and working practices
• Great interpersonal skills, so you can work with both senior business and technical stakeholders
• Knowledge of the banking sector will be an additional asset
