Who is the “Become a tester” training for?
The “Become a tester” training is addressed to both beginners who don’t have knowledge about software testing, such as:
- people without IT experience or education,
- students and graduates in various fields,
- people wanting to broaden their knowledge of testing,
- people wanting to retrain,
- other people who see their future career as software testers
as well as people who work as testers and want to:
- strengthen their knowledge in the field of software testing,
- obtain the ISTQB Foundation certificate.
How is the “Become a tester” training different from other courses on the market?
Over 50 participants of our courses have been already employed at Sii, which is their distinguishing feature. This is quite unusual on the training market and confirms the high quality of our offer. The course program is prepared by practitioner trainers who are Sii employees.
What is the chance that the training graduates will be employed at Sii?
Over 50 training graduates have been employed at Sii. Of course, participation in the training does not guarantee employment in our company, however, the knowledge and skills acquired during the training are a good basis for starting a career in IT. A training participant interested in working at Sii goes through a standard recruitment process, and the decision to hire them is an individual decision of a given manager and depends on a number of factors, e.g. customer needs, project requirements or knowledge of foreign languages. A completed course and passed ISTQB exam significantly increase employability in the IT industry for sure. We also see that graduates of our courses find employment in other companies in this sector.
In what cities do the courses take place?
We currently organize courses in 5 Sii locations: Lublin, Warsaw, Wroclaw, Gdansk and Krakow. We are doing our best to make our trainings available in every major city in Poland.

Is the scope of online trainings the same as for on-site trainings?
The scope of online trainings is the same as for on-site trainings. The only difference is that during online trainings participants learn about the practical aspects of the tester’s work remotely. The trainer adjusts the pace of work to the group’s level of knowledge. During our course, you will learn how testers’ work looks like and get to know the most important tools they use.
