The last quarter of 2019 has been successful for Sii Poland in terms of expanding the cooperation with the existing clients as well as acquiring new strategic partnerships. Diverse and exciting projects in the healthcare, banking or e-commerce sectors facilitate and accelerate the company’s growth.
Developments in the healthcare and life-sciences sector
A global healthcare group offering high-quality products and services for dialysis, hospitals, and outpatient treatment, our long term partner, has trusted Sii once more. This time with three projects: the development of the mobile application which main goal is to give clinic’s staff better understanding of a current status regarding plasma in the patient’s blood, as well as SAP support and Sharepoint third-level support.
Moreover, an American multinational leader operating in the fields of worker safety, health care and consumer goods put their confidence in Sii by expanding the cooperation to its Belgium division. Sii will be responsible for the platform, which is a collection of applications that work together to help hospitals streamline processes, receive accurate reimbursement, promote compliance and make data-informed decisions.
Another success in the field of life-sciences involves increasing the size of Sii team operating with the company’s partner – QIAGEN. The engineers integrating and developing IT systems work together with the client’s team so that the pioneering solutions of QIAGEN, for example, easy-to-use test kit for early diagnosis of coronavirus or RNA isolation kits could reach its recipients even faster
In addition, as a part of a new partnership, Sii has been invited to restart the development activities on a new version of the software and new cloud-ready architecture of metadata-driven and configurable product suite for the German developer and distributor of health informatics, laboratory informatics, and bioinformatics software. This software is used for metadata and clinical data repository, but also can be utilized along the entire clinical study lifecycle.
The latest technologies in the banking service
In order to deliver services more efficiently to Arion Bank, one of the Sii’s key clients, the company has entered the partnership with the bank’s onsite supplier. The scope of the contract covers 1st and 2nd line of remote support for core business applications of Arion Bank. Sii Poland has previously completed strategic projects for the Islandic client in the nearshoring model, for example, using Data Lineage to better classify its customers and ensure effective cross-sell of their services. The team working for the client includes almost 40 engineers and will be growing.
Ingenico, another significant partner, has also trusted Sii with new projects. The biggest one involves the transition of their service from Mumbai, India and creating 3 Scrum squads of 18 engineers in Poland. Altogether, a team of 80 Sii specialists works on various client R&D projects. The provider of the technology for secure electronic transactions chose Sii once more to expand the cooperation to the Belgium division of Ingenico Group –Ogone platform.
New partnerships driving the Sii’s growth
Apart from extending the cooperation with existing clients, Sii Poland recently acquired also new business partners. One of them is a well-known Swiss-based building materials and aggregates company. After starting the work in October 2019, Sii successfully delivered their first work by November. It was a project in the field of RPA in Blue Prism technology, deliver for the procurement department. Currently, together with the client, Sii is looking for further processes that, after automation, will increase efficiency and effectiveness of internal departments.
Another significant success is the services for an internationally active Swiss manufacturer of radiators and comfort ventilation. At the end of 2019, the client decided to integrate their Salesforce solutions with SAP and asked Sii for help. The first project is still running, but currently new opportunities involving SAP, Office 365 and ServiceNow solutions are being considered. Sii is also providing Salesforce support to the company subsidiary in Sweden in a nearshoring model.
Moreover, Sii Poland also won an important project for the global leader in online trading – IG turned to Sii with the need of quality assurance. The team of Sii testers will introduce performance testing approach and setup of entire Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery environments, as well as implement improvements and best practices in terms of QA.
