“Happy migration” – Sii’s experts will talk about the e-commerce project for Happy Socks during Meet Magento in Stockholm
Meet Magento is a conference that is regularly organized around the world. Theme-wise, it touches on topics related to e-commerce, international trade and the Magento sales platform. Just like last year, Sii experts from E-commerce Competence Center, will be speakers at the event.
The conference, which will take place on October 15 in Stockholm, is intended for sales representatives, agencies, programmers, service providers and other individuals interested in Magento software. It is an Adobe platform designed for both B2B and B2C sectors, enjoying great popularity due to its adaptation to current business needs and trends in this area, such as omnichannel. It is used by hundreds of thousands of entrepreneurs in Poland and abroad.
Sii has been supporting clients in developing their business and increasing online sales for years by building and expanding existing online stores as an example. This time, specialists in this area, Marcin Kozłowski, Service Delivery Manager and Patryk Święczkowski, Solution Architect in Sii, will talk about the case study – the project implemented for the Swedish brand Happy Socks.
What are the biggest e-commerce challenges addressed by customers in contact with Sii?
Patryk Święczkowski, Solution Architect: For customers who have already been on the e-commerce market for some time, it will be largely a migration and update of systems. In 2020, Magento 1 platforms user are going to lose technical support, therefore, customers are looking for alternatives and professional support from other sources to ensure their safety in its further use. In turn, those customers who are looking for new markets or have just entered the world of e-commerce, are looking for mature B2B or B2C platforms.
In addition, topics that customers address, concern integration with ERP and product information management systems (PIM).
What is the topic of your speech and why such a choice?
Marcin Kozłowski, Service Delivery Manager: We will discuss a case study of a project implemented for one of our clients, whose challenge was the migration of the e-commerce system to the latest Magento 2, supporting Multi Inventory. We chose this topic because it shows the impressive level of sophistication of the platform in terms of its configuration. We mean various continents, countries, payment systems, taxes, logistics and legal restrictions.
Who is your presentation aimed at?
P.Ś .: At Meet Magento in Sweden we will hold a presentation as part of the “merchant track”, which is addressed to the owners of both small businesses and international companies operating on a large scale. The topic is universal.
I think that e-commerce managers who are facing the challenge of ensuring security, stability and transformation to the latest solutions in the online sales industry will be particularly interested, and would like to learn how it was implemented, based on the example of the project we are going to talk about.
