New passions and community initiatives – Sii Power People on the move!
In February, Sii Poland led another call for applications for 2 CSR Programs: Passion Sponsorship Program and Sii Power Volunteers, for which every year the company allocates PLN 500.000. Despite the pandemic, the programs are still extremely popular – 53 projects were submitted by Sii employees, and as many as 30 received a grant for their start! In coming months many new sports camps, workshops, trainings and charity actions will take place and engage Sii Power People!
New Sii Power Volunteers Projects
In the near future, Sii Poland will invite again its employees and their families and friends to the nationwide campaign to support shelters for homeless animals – PSii Patrol – this will be the 3rd edition! In Poznań Sii volunteers will meet again at Stare Bojanowo stable for volunteering and hippotherapy, and in Gdańsk they will attend a series of workshops in the garden of “Dom na Skraju” Association. Employees are welcome to take their families and engage their beloved ones in social initiatives! In addition, the company will support Lublin-based Przed Czasem Foundation, owing to which, premature babies – also parents from Sii – will receive financial support in specialist medical checkups for children. The Sii crew will travel to Turkey to the well-known, international charity car rally – Złombol.
Beloved passions and new ones
Sii Poland constantly supports the athletes in popular disciplines: things will take a fresh spin in Sii Running Team, volleyball and football teams, but also in Sii Cycling Team and new female cycling group. Unusual sports emotions are for employees during new courses and workshops as part of Sii Sailing Team! In Gdańsk, surfing as a new discipline will be supported, and embedded engineers will develop and improve EVAA – an ecological farm project based on artificial intelligence. As part of supporting technological projects, the company will also continuing cooperation with Home Engineer.
Workshops, events, courses and camps
As for sports and cultural events, the second edition of Show & Prove Breakdance Festival is ahead, organized near Piła – and for the first time in Katowice fans will be able to watch the struggles of dancers at an exotic festival of Hindu dance.
A brand new initiative is the creation of a riding group and a planned camp for horse riding enthusiasts. There are also a new series of workshops planned organized by 3 passionate women: beer workshops in Gdańsk, ceramics workshops in Warsaw and styling workshops in Warsaw.
New sports people on the go!
In the last edition, the company has granted applications from high-level individual athletes who will take part in international competitions under Sii brand. These will be: Emilia Lendzion-Barszcz in the Enduro competition, Krzysztof Miszewski in the Ironman 70.3 World Championship, as well as Jarek Wanatowicz in the World Table Football Championship.
