For more than ten years, Sii Poland has been successfully developing its work in the area of Salesforce. During this period, an experienced team of over eighty experts with diverse abilities (Programmers, Consultants, Business Analysts, Administrators and Testers) has been created.

– As a Salesforce partner and expert in this area, we conduct and take full responsibility for implementation projects to allow the client to increase the efficiency of their resources – says Katarzyna Orzelska, Resource Manager at the Salesforce Competency Center in Sii Poland. – This year we created such teams which are now creating for example an advanced online store for B2B customer and developing a streaming platform based on Service Cloud – she adds.

Tailored development opportunities

The Salesforce Competency Center creates an environment that is conducive to people seeking challenges and opportunities for the development of new skills by participating in hands-on projects. Thanks to conducting implementation projects, managers can compose teams that allow for engaging employees in projects that best suit their interests.

– Thanks to a large number of projects, I had the opportunity to work in many different environments. Once I was a member of a team of over twenty people for a client from the pharmaceutical industry –  says Aleksander Cieśliński, Salesforce Developer at Sii Poland, one of the engineers who took such an opportunity.

Constant challenges, no stagnation and a controlled development path are not just promises, but a fact that is confirmed by the real stories. – I was also the only programmer in a company consisting mainly of Salesforce consultants, where I was responsible for numerous integrations and building solutions tailored to the client’s requirements. Thanks to direct cooperation with the client, I quickly gained experience that is difficult to acquire on a larger team. Freedom of choice is definitely one of the aspects of my work at Sii that I appreciate the most. Despite working with many clients, I have never been limited to a specific location for my performance. Thanks to this, I can combine traveling with constantly developing my skills and cooperating with new clients – adds AleksandeCieśliński.

– We want to offer similar opportunities to specialists who are looking for their  place on the labour market – says Katarzyna Orzelska. – Sometimes I meet candidates who are quite satisfied with their work, but their companies do not meet their expectations and do not give them the opportunity to develop competences in a different scope than those they use in their “main” projects. We are open to cooperation also on a part-time basis. We can be very flexible thanks to B2B contracts that are one of the available forms of cooperation with Sii, so I encourage IT specialists to take advantage of this really attractive option, which opens up completely new opportunities and development perspectives. We specialize in projects based on Sales and Service Cloud, but also develop in the areas of Field Service, CPQ and Marketing Cloud as well. I think that everyone will find something interesting for themselves – adds Katarzyna Orzelska.

Support in certification and development of Salesforce career paths

As part of its own ecosystem, Salesforce provides many learning materials and training platforms that help Salesforce specialists to obtain certificates that increase their attractiveness on the market. Sii Poland covers the certification costs to all employees, regardless of the form of cooperation and length of employment, supporting them in their development within their specific career paths: for architects, developers, consultants, administrators, and others.

– Only this year, our experts received 30 certificates, e.g., Sharing and Visibility Designer, Data Architecture and Management Designer, Application Architect, Platform Developer I and II, and Marketing Cloud Email Specialist. We have over 100 in total! – says Katarzyna Orzelska.

One of the engineers who took advantage of this opportunity is Adrian Durlak, Salesforce Developer at Sii Poland. – Sii creates perfect conditions for development. Exchanging experience with other people from the department and Sii’s flexible certification financing system helped me get 6 certificates and to obtain the title of Salesforce Certified Application Architect, and these are only the results of the last six months – says Adrian Durlak.

Members of the Salesforce Competency Center team can also try their hand in completely new areas, acquiring skills under the supervision of more experienced colleagues. – In March of this year, an Administrator, who wanted to prove himself as a Consultant, joined us – says Katarzyna Orzelska. – Recently, with the support of our experts in this area, he has been gaining experience in this field, successfully preparing a demo for clients. There are many more such stories. I would like them to inspire those who may be afraid of change. The IT industry is developing extremely dynamically, so it is worth taking advantage of the huge opportunities it offers  – she adds.
