Strong financial performance, 4 new branches and 4 000 Power People – 2018 at Sii Poland in a nutshell
Sii Poland is consistently climbing to the top. The company maintained a high 30-percent dynamics of revenue and profit growth, increased employment to 3 900 employees, opened four new branches and developed cooperation with global brands such as Bombardier and Qiagen. Excellent financial results in the financial year 2018/2019 confirm the strong position of Sii Poland. The leader in the IT and engineering services has achieved ambitious goals, generating revenue of PLN 677 million, over PLN 165 million more than in the previous year. Thus, the company secured the 2nd place among the largest providers of IT services in the latest Computerworld TOP200 ranking, the most comprehensive analysis of the IT sector in Poland. In addition, an increase of 30% per year resulted in a net profit of PLN 71 million, which placed Sii Poland on the 5th place among the companies with the highest net profit in the magazine’s classification. The development of Sii Polska has been maintaining high dynamics for years. In this year’s Computerworld report, the company significantly improved its position in the ranking, rising from the 31st to the 22nd place in the category of the largest IT companies operating in Poland.
From the very beginning, the company has been growing organically, employing top-class IT and engineering experts. Over the last year, the number of employees has increased to 3 900, and now it is over 4 100. In the publication released by IDG Poland, Sii Poland was ranked 3rd in the category of IT companies with the largest increase in employment. The major development in this area is related to the opening of 4 new branches located in Rzeszów, Częstochowa, Piła and Bydgoszcz, which attracted, among others, Java, .NET, PHP and DevOps engineers, manual and automatic testers or business analysts. Another highlight of the last year was also the opening of the subordinate company Sii Sweden, which is another step in the strategy of developing cooperation with clients from Scandinavia.
