The next edition of GET.NET in Lodz is coming
On April 14th programmers from all over the country will meet in Lodz at GET.NET – one of the largest conferences in Poland devoted to .NET technology. Participants will have the opportunity to listen to the speeches of 10 valued experts. The event, which is organized by Sii, will be held at The Marek Edelman Dialogue Center in Lodz.
GET.NET is a cyclical programming conference, which is organized by Sii twice a year – in spring in Lodz and in autumn in Gdansk. Year by year, the number of participants is constantly growing and GET.NET is becoming increasingly popular in the IT community in Poland and Europe. At the conference well-known and valued worldwide .NET experts, such as Udi Dahan, Mathias Brandewinder, Iris Classon and Maurice de Beijer, share their experience. The GET.NET audience consists of experienced programmers, testers, project managers, as well as IT students and all enthusiasts of new technologies. It is an excellent opportunity not only to gain knowledge, but also a chance for networking.
In order to match the program to the participants’ expectations even better, this year, members of the IT community participated in the selection of speakers and the creation of the conference programme. Marcin Biegała representing Sii as well as Arek Benedykt, Szymon Kulec and Szymon Pobiega, chose interesting topics of high technical level included in the agenda, which consists of ten one-hour presentations:
- Mark Rendle – „Cloude Native .Net”
- Szymon Warda – „Serverless is not about code. It i show you think”
- Tomasz Onyszko – „Application + Cloud + Security à What can go wrong!”
- Piotr Gankiewicz i Darek Pawlukiewicz – „Distributed .Net Core”
- Rafał Lagiędź – „Programming to Mixed Reality platform with using HoloLens”

The theme of the spring edition of the conference is focused mainly on the Microsoft Azure platform. Those, who are looking forward to lectures on the practical approach to creating cloud applications, also in the context of security, will not be disappointed. The program also includes sessions focused on the .Net Core framework or alternative sessions to Visual Studio IDE – on the example of JetBrains Rider. Mixed Reality technology enthusiasts will certainly be interested in the session dedicated to programming using HoloLens.
This year the organisers want to give the participants also an opportunity to learn more about the history of the Lodz. The Marek Edelman Dialogue Center, where the event will be held, promotes the multicultural and multi-ethnic heritage of Lodz. And there’s even more when it comes to attractions prepared by the organisers – each participant of the upcoming GET.NET in Lodz will receive a t-shirt designed by the creator of the iconic brand GOUDA WORKS.
