Why was Sii named Great Place to Work for the third time in a row
The prestigious title of Great Place to Work in Poland went to Sii Poland once again. The Great Place to Work Institute has announced the best employers in the country for the ninth time. Among the winners was Sii Poland – an IT expert employing 2 700 specialists, who carry out projects for more than 200 customers around the world. The company, awarded in the contest for the third time in a row, has confirmed its position in the global ranking of top employers.
Sii’s CEO, Gregoire Nitot comments on the prize – the title of Great Place to Work is a great accomplishment for Sii and of course a significant success for us. We earned it thanks to our hard work. The key to success is revenue growth and profit generation. All this makes us both a stable and solid employer and business partner. Without a huge business growth we wouldn’t be able to provide our team with such good work conditions. Thanks to this award we know that we are heading in the right direction – frankly, it’s a very important indicator for me.
What is more this prize is a really valuable asset for Sii. The title of Great Place to Work lets us stay ahead of the competition and gives us a competitive advantage on the IT market. We can keep conquering the world and take pride in the title confirming the fact that Sii is not only a technical expert, but also the best place to work – admits the CEO. The award is granted based on an audit of the employees’ satisfaction with work conditions and work comfort.
According to a global standard of the Great Place to Work audit, the final evaluation consists of two aspects: the Trust Index, reflecting the employees’ opinions about the relations in the workplace and the Culture Audit – a HR practices analysis. Organizations that build trust and create a positive feedback between the employees’ individual efforts and their appreciation, build organizational cultures which bring companies to outstanding business results.
According to Joanna Kucharska, HR and Communication Department Director at Sii – Sii proved once again that it is present in a narrow group of global leaders, who are acknowledged as best places to work. We are extremely proud of the prize, because it’s an award from our employees. Every year, the results tell us what changes should be implemented in Sii and enable us to recognize our team’s needs. After each audit we draw conclusions and make improvements to become an even better place to work – our ambition is to be the best and we keep pursuing this goal. We heve prepared lots of surprises for our employees, we want to celebrate together and thank all of them.
Sii can be proud of its high recruitment effectiveness indicators and dynamic development. On average, the company hires 100 engineers every month – approximately 1 200 persons per year. Currently 2700 specialists work at Sii and the company is planning to reach the number of 3 300 persons employed by the end of the current year.
