Sii, the leader of IT and industrial engineering services in Poland, present in 9 Polish cities, is expanding its team in Lublin. In May the number of persons employed in the Lublin branch, which is celebrating 5 years on the market this year, has exceeded 300 persons. The fast growth is possible thanks to the satisfaction of employees. – The attrition rate stays at the level of only 8% annually – says Artur Palac, Sii Lublin Director.

Sii Lublin is different than the other branches – it is a Delivery Center, which employs engineers working remotely from the office located at Szeligowskiego Street. The experts from Lublin carry out projects for international clients from different industries – from banking and finance to the automotive sector. This is why the variety of profiles of the persons employed in Lublin is very wide – manual and automation testers as well as Java, .NET, C++, BI, Salesforce, SharePoint and AEM programmers, business analysts and PLC programmers work here.

Moreover, the Sii Delivery Center in Lublin is where the Internal IT department is located, including the Service Desk and IT Infrastructure teams, as well as those maintaining and developing internal systems, such as MS Dynamics AX, MS Dynamics CRM, the SharePoint platform, BI reports and many other applications supporting and automating the work of more than 3500 persons. Only this year Sii will spend 20 million PLN on the development of Internal IT – a department counting more than 150 persons – as well as the systems supporting recruitment and resource management.

– We develop dynamically employing more than 80 persons per year. In the coming year we want to at least maintain or even increase our current development pace. Candidates from the Lublin job market are eager to join Sii thanks to the variety of projects offered by the company and technologies in which they can develop as professionals. The most sought for profiles at Sii Lublin are: Java Developer, .NET Developer, manual and automation tester, Salesforce Developer, C++ Developer and Service Desk Specialist. – Each month we employ 7 new persons on average. They are mostly specialists with several years of experience in IT, yet there are also persons without technical education, who have decided to change their career paths and start their adventure in the world of technology. Such opportunity is given to them in the form of training practices during the Summer Talent Academy (Letnia Akademia Talentów) and the shadow working program. In this case theoretical and practical knowledge gained through the participation in trainings and courses and a strong motivation for further learning are crucial – says Milena Gębusia, Recruitment Department Manager.
