Sii Katowice recruits to hi-tech projects

Katowice Branch was established in May 2014 and till the end of this year plans to hire 50 engineers.

Working for hi-tech and banking clients gives engineers the opportunity to learn about the latest technologies and solutions, introduced to the market. Sii clients are competing for advantage with other companies, looking for innovation, and our engineers help them in this field. – says Krzysztof Danilewicz, Managing Director Sii Katowice.

This opinion is confirmed by our engineers.

I work as a Testing Software engineer in the original project to build software for support trams and trains. – says Dawid Grochowski. – At that time, I met all kinds of innovative software, used to test the proper system of trams and trains railways. It’s amazing how much can we learn in a short time.– adds Grochowski. – The project is interesting, full of challenges and ambitious goals. We work with teams from other countries, Dutch, Czech or with the Chinese. Developers and testers can’t complain about the lack of challenges.

Kamil Sajdok, Java developer working on Sii behalf for one of the banks, has similar opinion. It is fascinating that every single customer of the bank is in contact with our frontend – both:  supported by our branch and call centers as well. In our project, we focus mainly on processes to improve customer service, based on tools created in Javiee EE.

Branch in Katowice is the youngest Sii branch in Poland. Integrator Offices work also in Warsaw, Gdansk, Wroclaw, Poznan, Cracow, Lodz and Lublin. The company employs over 1,800 people and two years in a row wins the title of “Best Workplace IT in Poland”, awarded by the “Computerworld” magazine.
