Presentation of fundamental concepts of Information Technology, mainly as a service and organization, so that Business could understand and effectively communicate with IT people

    • Software (business applications, database software, server software etc.) – main differences and characterictics
    • Hardware (servers, personal devices, periferrals, mobile devices, network LAN/WAN etc.)
    • Storages
    • Cloud
    • Telecommunication (VoIP)
  • Information security management – process,standard, security policy
  • IT projects – management and development; application development lifecycle (most common approaches and methods: agile, waterfall); project roles
  • IT as an organization
  • IT Staff – functions, roles, responsilbilities.
  • Relationship between IT Staff and business representatives

All customers and users of IT services, also representatives of business units; people cooperating with IT on a daily basis; also IT Staff – especially service owners, business relationship mamangers; every person responsible for the delivery of IT services in an organization
