The company wanted to refresh an existing industrial valve series and improve its competitiveness by reducing pressure drop in the fully open position, while keeping the design manufacturable. Over a 5.5-month optimization project, a 3-person Sii team used computational fluid dynamics (CFD), CAD design, measurement-based validation, and prototype testing to refine the internal valve geometry across several size variants. As a result, the client received a validated valve design with improved flow behavior, stronger efficiency parameters, and a clearer basis for further product development with fewer physical prototype iterations. \n <\/div>\n
