Due to the complexity of the project, it required the creation of a design team with broad competences in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and method manufacturing.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>What we did<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Analysis, optimization and description of current activities related to the modernization process of the assembly of ETCS systems<\/li>\n<li>Defining good practices for assembly activities<\/li>\n<li>Assembly task sequence optimization<\/li>\n<li>Activities supporting productivity and work methodology<\/li>\n<li>Optimization of the information flow process between engineering departments<\/li>\n<li>Design and construction of electrical and mechanical elements<\/li>\n<li>Active participation in the implementation of the product development process<\/li>\n<li>Development of technical specifications and design feasibility analysis<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Effects<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Highly qualified team of engineers\u00a0with previous experience in a railway industry\u00a0which enabled cost reduction and shortened the time needed for realisation of the project.<\/li>\n<li>Effective customer support and conscious, full participation in the process of modifying rail vehicles.<\/li>\n<li>Complete technical documentation, including assembly instructions, executive drawings, technical specifications.
