The project required manual test cases, on which automation scenarios should be created, however, the test cases provided by the client were inconsistent and lacked test data.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2>What we did<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Established a new verification process for manual test cases.<\/li>\n<li>Reviewed and updated manual test cases according to the new definition of ready.<\/li>\n<li>Implemented Test Automation, taking into account Tosca Test Automation best practices,\u00a0Risk-Based Assessment, Tosca repository structure and Test Data Management.<\/li>\n<li>Provided\u00a0automation regression test for sprints 1-14.<\/li>\n<li>Documented the automation process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Benefits for the client<\/h2>\n<div class=\"sii-rl-reference-lang-background ng-scope\" data-ng-repeat=\"item in ViewModel.ReferenceModel.ReferenceLanguages\" data-ng-show=\"ViewModel.SelectedLanguage.Value==item.LangName\">\n<div class=\"sii-rl-content-item sii-rl-effects\">\n<div class=\"sii-rl-content-item-value sii-rl-effects-value sii-rl-content-item-value-display\">\n<div class=\"ng-scope\">\n<div class=\"sii-rl-reference-lang-background ng-scope\" data-ng-repeat=\"item in ViewModel.ReferenceModel.ReferenceLanguages\" data-ng-show=\"ViewModel.SelectedLanguage.Value==item.LangName\">\n<div class=\"sii-rl-content-item sii-rl-effects\">\n<div class=\"sii-rl-content-item-value sii-rl-effects-value sii-rl-content-item-value-display\">\n<div class=\"ng-scope\">\n<ul>\n<li>Obtaining new test verification process: Definition of Ready and Definition of Done<\/li>\n<li>Successful update of manual test cases taking into consideration new processes and Test Data Management;<\/li>\n<li>Limiting Test redundancy<\/li>\n<li>Implementation of Tosca (architecture set up, repository structure, risk-based assessment, Test Data Management)<\/li>\n<li>Creation of regression test portfolio, according to Tosca automation best practices<\/li>\n<li>Receiving\u00a0detailed instruction regarding the automation process and results of tests<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The challenge The client wanted to automate the Salesforce project regression test in Tricentis Tosca.
