Sii was tasked with conducting the due-diligence for the IT department of our Client and creating and correcting existing BO reports. The due-diligence process was conducted over a period of 4 days, process of creating edition reports took 87 days.<\/p>\n
Sii was tasked with conducting due-diligence. Sii Consultants worked on the dedicated PCs provided by the Client with BO version 5.1.5. in which the reports were created.
\nThe information was gathered through detailed technical meetings about BO, detailed meetings for process of creating reports, Universes overview, database\u2019s structures overview and the analysis of provided documentation, existing reports, report\u2019s specifications and current source code base (SQL\u2019s queries).
\nThe IT Department has a defined vision and intent. From the starting list of 64 reports, after 4 days of the investigation 46 reports remained on the list. The reports were grouped in 4 categories, depending on priority, so they could start from the most important ones.<\/p>\n
The final product of this project will consist of 46 corrected, upgraded or created from the beginning reports in BO and\/or processed using Freehand SQL method or Universe. Sii also delivered technical documentation for the reports containing BO functionalities description, composition of the query along with the associated SQL, and databases used.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
