The solution should comprehensively handle all processes running in the organization. One of these processes relates to benefit enrollment performed by the company\u2019s employees. The solution should be a web portal, that would handle benefit requests submitted by employees in a smart and efficient manner, with emphasis on user experience.<\/p>\n<h2>What we did<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>We have worked in close cooperation with the client&#8217;s team in an agile environment<\/li>\n<li>We have designed, implemented and optimized the database structure and the data access layer<\/li>\n<li>We have implemented a new Vaadin-based portal from scratch \u2013 the portal is a separate application but it is a part of a larger system<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0We have developed a new HR module inside the core system<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Effects<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>The client gained a modern system that improved the processes inside the company, especially the HR department processes<\/li>\n<li>Thanks to the implemented solution, the client is able to shorten the working time devoted to the operational tasks of employees<\/li>\n<li>The modern and intuitive layout ensured easy system operation and quick training of the staff and implementation of the system to the organization<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The challenge The client needed a system for one of its contratcors trom the medical industry.
