{"id":7065,"date":"2018-04-25T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2018-04-25T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new-www.sii.pl\/case\/license-and-subscription-management-system\/"},"modified":"2021-05-04T11:10:23","modified_gmt":"2021-05-04T11:10:23","slug":"license-and-subscription-management-system","status":"publish","type":"case-study","link":"https:\/\/sii.pl\/en\/case-study\/license-and-subscription-management-system\/","title":{"rendered":"License and Subscription Management System"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>The challenge<\/h2>\n<p>Alinea\u2019s existing license management system started showing limitations, affecting end-user satisfaction and limiting the potential to expand the company&#8217;s digital business in the future.<\/p>\n<h2>What we did<\/h2>\n<p>Sii formed a project team that has created a new solution from scratch, including: architecture, UX\/UI, development, testing, deployment.<br \/>\nThere are two main parts of the system:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>SSO that authorizes users privileges to e-learning products licenses,<\/li>\n<li>the administration console for license, user, customer and product management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The architecture of the new license management solution is\u00a0 scalable and distributed, designed to serve thousands of requests per second. We use the microservices pattern \u2013 a collection of loosely coupled services, designed in a way enabling a response to business needs.<\/p>\n<h2>Effects<\/h2>\n<p>The first version of the solution, used by internal administrators and customer service of Alinea, is on production.
