The court’s ruling confirms the company’s position in the key respect: the former employee will not return to the organization, and his appeal was dismissed in full. The judgment also closes a years-long public discussion around Sii’s actions, which had undermined the company’s reputation and the legitimacy of the decisions it made.

The court’s decision

The court awarded the former employee compensation due to the manner in which the employment relationship was terminated. At the same time, it did not order the reinstatement of Krystian Kosowski, and his appeal was dismissed in full.

The full judgment (in Polish) is available for download below, and the rest of the article can be found below the attached document.

From Sii’s perspective, the previously announced return of Krystian Kosowski to the organization would not be possible, also for organizational reasons, as none of Sii’s more than 600 managers has declared readiness to work with him on their team.

This ruling is important for Sii not only from a legal and organizational perspective, but above all in terms of protecting the company’s good name. Over the past few years, the organization has faced a one-sided and unfair narrative built, among others, by Związkowa Alternatywa, Piotr Szumlewicz and individuals publicly involved in the dispute.

In Sii’s view, numerous publications, video materials and social media posts were intended to damage the reputation of the company and its CEO and founder, undermine trust in managers, and put pressure on the organization, its employees, clients and business partners.

The facts, however, show something completely different: despite years of pressure and attempts to undermine Sii’s reputation, the company not only defended its position, but continued to grow, create jobs, pay hundreds of millions of zlotys in taxes in Poland each year, and maintain the trust of its employees.

An important moment for Sii employees

The final closure of the case shows how far the image of the company built in a one-sided public narrative was from Sii’s everyday reality. Over the past few years, Power People remained ambassadors of the company, defended the organization’s good name and proved every day that Sii’s strength lies in commitment, responsibility and mutual trust.

This judgment closes almost four years of a very difficult dispute, which from the beginning was accompanied by numerous one-sided publications, media materials, videos and hostile social media posts aimed at Sii.
