The main goal is to ensure stable system performance for passengers and to further improve service quality. The new agreement marks the beginning of another stage in FALA\u2019s development. The priority is stable system operation and its gradual enhancement from the perspective of passengers\u2019 everyday needs. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>The FALA System is a unified payment system for public transportation in the Pomeranian Voivodeship. It covers both urban public transportation and rail, enabling a single payment solution across multiple transportation operators in the region. Work on the FALA System has been underway since 2021, when a contract for the system\u2019s development was signed between InnoBaltica and the contractor, Asseco Data Systems, which is now being replaced by a new project partner as of July.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Sii Poland takes over FALA&#8217;s improvement process <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>Sii Poland has become the new partner responsible for maintaining and developing the FALA System and will take over these responsibilities <strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-nswc-secondary-color\">from the former operator on July 1.<\/mark><\/strong> Both companies are currently cooperating on the handover process. The entire transition has been planned to ensure business continuity and not affect the day-to-day use of FALA.<\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-style-nsw-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p><em>\u201cWe are aware of the importance of the FALA System for residents of the Pomeranian Voivodeship and all entities involved in organizing public transport in the region. Our priority is to ensure stable, secure, and efficient system operation from the first day of the contract, while supporting its further development. We believe that thanks to the expertise of our specialists and proven maintenance processes, we will effectively support InnoBaltica in achieving its goals related to the development of modern mobility services,\u201d says <strong>Piotr Tarakowski, Head of Public Industry at Sii Poland.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n<p><em>\u201cThe success of such large projects is based not only on technology but above all on people\u2019s commitment, partnership relations, and a shared pursuit of common goals. From the very beginning, we have focused on a smooth takeover of responsibility for the development of the FALA System and on building strong relationships with the InnoBaltica team. We are ready to use our experience and energy to jointly deliver the next stages of this important project for Pomerania,\u201d says <strong>Karolina Schuetz, Account Executive and coordinator of cooperation between Sii Poland and InnoBaltica.<\/strong><\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The passenger comes first<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>Passengers do not need to take any additional actions. The change of technical partner does not affect how FALA is used or access to its features. The new agreement is primarily a commitment to ensuring stable system operation. The priority is reliability and the gradual introduction of solutions that will make everyday use of public transport easier.<\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-style-nsw-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p><em>\u201cSigning the agreement is an important step in ensuring the continuity of the FALA System. We aimed to develop solutions that combine system stability with real financial capabilities and experience from previous procedures. Thanks to the negotiations, we reached an agreement that enables the safe continuation of system maintenance and development. Together with our current contractor, Asseco Data Systems S.A., and the new contractor, Sii Poland, we are working on a smooth transfer of system operations.
