Engineers from <\/span><\/b>Sii<\/span><\/b> Poland have created a prototype machine for automation of control panels testing in trains that will replace manual tests of equipment. The robot<\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/b>which can be controlled remotely from anywhere in the world will be used by a leading manufacturer of planes and trains as part of a <\/span><\/b>bigger<\/span><\/b> IT system.<\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/p>\n

Sii<\/span> Poland<\/span>, a leader in IT services and engineering in Poland, create<\/span>d the <\/span>robot prototype to replace manual testing of machines. Its implementation was <\/span>carried out by the<\/span> engineers <\/span>from Engineering and Embedded Competency<\/span> Centers<\/span> who<\/span> crea<\/span>ted<\/span> the entire device from scratch. <\/span>\u2013 <\/span>As part of the project, we designed and built a device that performs physical clicks for testing touch screens <\/span>\u2013<\/span> explains <\/span>Kamil Zorychta, <\/span><\/b>A<\/span><\/b>rchitect<\/span><\/b> <\/span>in<\/span> <\/span>Sii<\/span> Poland<\/span>, <\/span>one of the team members <\/span>engage<\/span>d in the project. The role of these screens is to monitor and control the machine, which is equipped with two alternating interfaces.<\/span> <\/span>This is a very responsible function<\/span> so<\/span> the project that will be used in the railway industry had to meet the highest requirements as to quality, reliability and safety.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013<\/span> <\/span>Sii<\/span> Pola<\/span>nd<\/span> has undertaken a comprehensive implementation of the project, carrying out all the necessary work, such as <\/span>designing <\/span>3D model of the robot, <\/span>preparing<\/span> technical drawings of its individual parts, designing electronics for control, writing software and creating technical documentation <\/span>\u2013<\/span> says Kamil Zorychta.<\/span> <\/span>\u2013<\/span> <\/span>The greatest satisfaction<\/span> for us was achieving the<\/span> opportunity to perform remote work on a physical screen without interfering with the construction of the robot. Thanks to this<\/span> option<\/span>, you can control it from anywhere in the world, having the ability to view its work and effects in real<\/span>–<\/span>time <\/span>\u2013<\/span> he adds.<\/span><\/p>\n

The use of the robot in the screen testing process will increase the efficiency of performed tasks, speed of delivery of results and <\/span>will<\/span> reduce the costs of this extremely<\/span> important process.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n
