Flexible career paths allow employees to shape their future based on predispositions and ambitions, and tools such as Job Changer or a dedicated website on the company’s Intranet improve the process of changing roles.<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The<\/span>\u00a0mission<\/span>\u00a0of\u00a0<\/span>Sii<\/span>\u00a0Poland<\/span>\u00a0is to identify and develop\u00a0<\/span>the<\/span>ir<\/span>\u00a0best employees, which is why the company provides the opportunity for an individual approach to<\/span>\u00a0career<\/span>\u00a0development, depending on<\/span>\u00a0their<\/span>\u00a0needs, ambitions and predispositions.\u00a0<\/span>There are several<\/span>\u00a0variants to choose from, including\u00a0<\/span>m<\/span>anagerial path<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0directly related to business development and client work, technical expert path or management of internal departments and processes of the company.\u00a0<\/span>Each of these areas works a bit differently<\/span>, but they share a common recipe for success \u2013<\/strong> finding passion in <\/span>improving the work of the organization every day.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Job Changer application allows employees to change the project<\/span>\u00a0in a quick way<\/span>, and\u00a0<\/span>for those\u00a0<\/span>most ambiti<\/span>ous, the<\/span>\u00a0company offers additional initiatives, such as specialized training or mentoring.\u00a0<\/span>If you wish to participate in the company growth, y<\/span>ou can also engage in many other ways<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Business managerial path<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

One of\u00a0<\/span>Sii<\/span>\u00a0Pol<\/span>and<\/span>‘s strategic goals is a continuous business development and winning\u00a0<\/span>against<\/span>\u00a0the competition. This is\u00a0<\/span>the task for\u00a0<\/span>Sii<\/span>\u00a0Leaders – sales managers, pre-sales and project delivery managers.\u00a0<\/span>Those<\/span>\u00a0people<\/span>-persons, who<\/span>\u00a0feel good in negotiations and working with the client can develop towards managerial positions in the Sales and PSD Department. These leaders are\u00a0<\/span>Sii\u2019s<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>key employees. What does work look like from their perspective and what do they do every day?<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>My daily duties include project-specific tasks\u00a0<\/span>(\u2026).\u00a0<\/span>as well as pre-sales activities, examining the needs of our sellers and current customers. Especially the last part gives me a lot of satisfaction<\/span>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0<\/span>says<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/i>Maciej Jagielski, Delivery Manager<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/b>at<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/b>Sii<\/span><\/b>\u00a0Pol<\/span><\/b>and<\/span><\/b><\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u2013\u00a0<\/span>Every day I conduct recruitment processes, sign contracts with employees, organize events, I am responsible for participation in industry meetings, I deal with office space, budgeting, documentation and most importantly, looking for projects inside the company that employees from\u00a0<\/span>Sii<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Bia\u0142ystok<\/span>\u00a0could carry out. Some of these responsibilities are new to me, but I\u2019m happy to be able to do them, because thanks to that I\u2019m growing<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u2013\u00a0<\/span>admits<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Barbara Piekarska, Regional Manager<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span>of the\u00a0<\/span>Sii\u2019s<\/span>\u00a0youngest branch<\/span>.<\/span><\/i><\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Management of\u00a0<\/span><\/b>Sii<\/span><\/b>\u00a0processes and internal teams<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Workers<\/span>\u00a0of\u00a0<\/span>Sii’s<\/span>\u00a0back office<\/span>\u00a0departments have a number of development opportunities in the areas of administration, HR, recruitment, organization change management, controlling, purchasing, marketing, legal support or the internal IT department and service desk. These departments often work together to develop the best business solutions, affecting the operation of the entire organization.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013\u00a0<\/span>The Product Owner\u2019s job involves responsibility because he or she is accountable, to a large extent, for the final result \u2013 the product that is delivered to the customer. On the other hand, I feel over the moon when the employees enjoy using applications that I was involved in creating<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u2013\u00a0<\/span>explains\u00a0<\/span>Joanna\u00a0<\/span><\/b>Karpowicz<\/span><\/b>, Product Owner<\/span><\/b><\/a>\u00a0of several internal applications in the field of HR, controlling, administration & payroll, for example, Job Changer application.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Sebastian\u00a0<\/span><\/b>Po\u0142e\u0107<\/span><\/b>,<\/span><\/b><\/a>\u00a0w<\/span>ho started his career at\u00a0<\/span>Sii<\/span>\u00a0from<\/span>\u00a0Service Desk<\/span>\u00a0team<\/span>,\u00a0<\/span>and through\u00a0<\/span>Product\u00a0Owner<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>position became a<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Project Manager<\/span><\/b>,\u00a0<\/span>admits<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u2013<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>It\u2019s hard work, which carries many challenges and a huge responsibility, but rewards everything with satisfaction, the possibility of personal development and cooperation with the best specialists from various IT areas.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Expert path<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

People who are specialists in a selected field can follow the expert path and deepen their knowledge in a specific area. This is associated with the improvement and acquisition of competences in a given area, as well as development<\/span>\u00a0on-the-job. Through knowledge and skills, you can become\u00a0<\/span>an authority and support\u00a0<\/span>to your team and\u00a0<\/span>other employees. There are many possibilities for development towards an expert in\u00a0<\/span>Sii<\/span>. Starting from the back office departments, where\u00a0<\/span>o<\/span>ffice\u00a0<\/span>m<\/span>anagement\u00a0<\/span>a<\/span>ssistant can build a knowledge base towards\u00a0<\/span>a<\/span>dministration and\u00a0<\/span>b<\/span>illing\u00a0<\/span>s<\/span>pecialist,\u00a0<\/span>or<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>a<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>t<\/span>alent\u00a0<\/span>a<\/span>cquisition\u00a0<\/span>s<\/span>pecialist towards\u00a0<\/span>r<\/span>ecruiter, to technical teams and<\/span>, for example,<\/span>\u00a0the development of a manual tester towards a test developer, business analyst or programmer.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

These paths can be interwoven<\/span>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0<\/span>you can also decide on a horizonta<\/span>l career change<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/b>I felt that I needed a change and it would be a good time to enter a new area. I thought about specialization b<\/span>etween<\/span>\u00a0business and IT, e.g. business analysis, I also considered testing\u00a0<\/span>(\u2026).\u00a0<\/span>In retrospect, I think testing was a good choice, I had to learn a lot at the time<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0(\u2026)\u00a0<\/span>Currently, it is a lot of fun for me to translate technical issues to others<\/span>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0<\/span><\/i>says Agata\u00a0<\/span><\/b>Szwichtenberg<\/span><\/b><\/a>,\u00a0<\/span><\/b>who started worki<\/span>ng<\/span>\u00a0at\u00a0<\/span>Sii<\/span>\u00a0as a recruiter<\/span>\u00a0and<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>with the trust of her\u00a0<\/span>colleagues from\u00a0<\/span>Sii<\/span>\u00a0and a client<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>joined\u00a0<\/span>the other side as Test and Analysis Engineer.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Job Changer application is the next step in the implementation of the\u00a0<\/span>Sii<\/span>\u00a0Power People mission.\u00a0<\/span>If you need<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>project<\/span><\/a>, department, technology or\u00a0<\/span>work location<\/span><\/a>\u00a0change<\/span>\u00a0inside the company, without the external recruitment<\/span>, there\u2019s n<\/span>othing easier! Just submit an application<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0have a conversation with a representative of the local HR department, during which the expectations and competencies of the employee are raised, and then wait for internal offers.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/b>About 2-3 weeks have passed\u00a0<\/span>between<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>sending\u00a0<\/span>the application\u00a0<\/span>and<\/span>\u00a0talks with the new client. (…) The transition was very smooth. Every year more and more people use Job Changer<\/span><\/a>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>In 2019, more than 370 applications for project change were submitted – this is more than twice as much as in the corresponding period in previous years. However, the company is not resting on its laurels. In July this year, an additional\u00a0<\/span>website was launched, a part of\u00a0the <\/span>internal portal\u00a0<\/span>dedicated to<\/span>\u00a0career paths and development opportunities in the company.
