Sii Power People decided to create their own. Sii Learning Platform is a tool that not only allows you to standardize the <\/span><\/b><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">onboarding<\/span><\/b><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> process, but above all systematizes access to training, regardless of location.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Sii Pol<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">and<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> has been focusing on employee development since its <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">beginings<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">. The company&#8217;s mission is to identify and promote the best Power People, and thus, to constantly expand development opportunities, including training. Many solutions in the organization are based on ideas submitted by employees, so <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">is <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">th<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">e idea<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> to implement a remote training platform, supporting courses in soft and technical <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">skills<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">. The purpose of the application<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> implementation<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> was primarily to standardize the <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">onboarding<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> process, make it more attractive for all employees, including those who do not work in Sii offices on a daily basis, introduce remote training opportunities and gather all knowledge in the organization and create one place <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">to<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> share it. The current solution is significantly different from the original idea.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Custom solution instead of off-the-shelf<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">There were many visions of the platform, however, the current solution is significantly different from the original idea.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u2013 <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">When I started working at <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Sii<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, one of my first challenges was to implement a training platform.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> Initially, we planned to buy a ready-made off-the-shelf solution, but after many discussions we decided to create our own solution based on the open source technology, Moodle. The change in <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">the <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">approach resulted from the fact that it was Moodle that allowed us to take care of all business requirements that the<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> ready-made<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> solutions available on the market could not meet \u2013 says <b>Aleksandra Kalbarczyk, Training Specialist at <\/b><b>Sii<\/b><b> Poland<\/b>.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Moodle is one of the most popular and advanced LMS systems for creating e-learning platforms<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">. This solutions is popular among many<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> companies and universities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u2013 <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Moodle is great for distance learning, promotes communication between training participants, and thanks to its modular structure, it allows you to flexibly build a knowledge base and make the process of acquiring knowledge and skills more attractive. Using the advantages of Moodle, the <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Sii<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> Learning Platform is also integrated with the <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Sii<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> employee base (AD) and the employment process at <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Sii<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> itself \u2013 says <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Piotr Bielecki, Architect at<\/span><\/b> <b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Sii<\/span><\/b><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> Pol<\/span><\/b><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">and<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:276}\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Consistency with the company&#8217;s systems \u2013 a long list of advantages<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">A tailor-made solution for the organization has many advantages that cannot be found in ready-made <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">off-the-shelf<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> product<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">. At first glance, you can see the graphical consistency and personalization of the tool \u2013 photos of Sii Pol<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">and<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> employees instead of those from publicly available libraries, visual identification consistent with other company&#8217;s applications. This is only the first impression, and there are many more advantages. The platform integrates with the company&#8217;s internal systems, which allows you to freely assign a training group to departments, positions or differently defined groups of recipients in the company. Sii specialists can add any content to the platform (e.g. recordings, presentations), based on integration with Microsoft 365, which also allows for their automatic updating. Thanks to this, we create an up-to-date internal knowledge base. This solution is also better in terms of data security. The company does not entrust user data or the data contained in training materials to external suppliers, and even the archived data does not expire. Sii employees can analyze them, present them in any way, draw conclusions and apply improvements. Analy<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">sis<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> are already being carried out on the number of training courses, the most popular courses and test results. On the other hand, while handling the process, we have the ability to monitor the number of training sessions, the number of employees participating in them, costs, certificates, and confirmation of attendance. The solution helps us <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">to <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">eliminate geographical barriers<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> and<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> introduc<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">e<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> synergy between 14 Sii branches in terms of acquiring knowledge<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.<\/span> <span data-contrast=\"auto\">It allows for <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">the remote form of knowledge sharing <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">for<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> larger groups of employees to use the same proprietary training, often recreating it many times after their completion. The Us<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">er<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> Profile and Dashboard has been rebuilt and the view has been adapted to Sii Pol<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">and<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> standards. Every online training and webinar now has its place on the Sii Learning Platform. And ahead of us is the transfer of the stationary training process from SharePoint on premise to Moodle<\/span> <span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u2013<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> adds<\/span> <b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Ewa Jab\u0142o\u0144ska.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Ambitious look into the future<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Despite the short period from implementation, currently <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">there are <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">148 training courses organized in 9 categories available on the platform. <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">It<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> already has over 2<\/span> <span data-contrast=\"auto\">500 users, and over 1<\/span> <span data-contrast=\"auto\">800 of them have already participated in training. The platform is very popular \u2013 for comparison, in a similar period last year, almost 600 users took part in 40 stationary training sessions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The team <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">developing this<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> tool doesn&#8217;t stop at these promising statistics.
