On June 8 \u2013 9 in Gda\u0144sk the Testing Cup \u2013 the biggest testing competition in Poland will take place. The main sponsor of this year\u2019s edition is Sii Poland. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Testing Cup is an event for testers and all persons professionally involved in programming and quality assurance of IT systems.<\/p>\n

Specialists and aficionados of IT in one, will compete in an individual and team contest for the title of best software testers in Poland. The testing contest, which will take place on the first day of the event, will be accompanied by a series of lectures and workshops and more contests. There will also be time for networking. The Testing Cup, organized since 2013, will be held in Gda\u0144sk for the first time.<\/p>\n

The keynote speakers of the Testing Cup will be Maria Kedemo from House of Test, known as the IT rebels from Sweden and Ben Simo \u2013 associated most strongly with the famous Healthcare.gov case in the USA. They will be accompanied by almost 30 other top class speakers \u2013 testing specialists, who will hold lectures and workshops. The lectures will take place simultaneously in two theme paths, including one held entirely in English.<\/p>\n

Marcin Laksander, Testing Competency Center Manager at Sii, who will also be one of the speakers with his presentation \u201cA tester at a job interview\u201d<\/strong>, comments the engagement of Sii as sponsor of the Testing Cup in the following words:<\/p>\n

\u201eSii is strongly engaged in testing services<\/a>. We have the biggest Testing Center in Poland, bringing together the best testers from Poland and abroad. One of our most important missions is identifying and promoting the best employees, we participate in initiatives in which the best and the most creative persons can show what they have and develop, this is why we have decided to take part in Testing Cup 2017 as sponsors. We also organize our own events, such as the <\/em>GET.NET<\/em><\/a> conference and the <\/em>Let\u2019s Code<\/em><\/a> programming contest <\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n

Currently, over 600 testing specialists work at Sii, they are involved in performance, web service and functional testing, as well as test automation and the audit of the testing process. The Testing Center can boast hundreds of tests carried out for Polish and foreign clients.<\/p>\n
