Sii, one of the fastest growing IT and industrial engineering companies in Poland is expanding its team in \u0141\u00f3d\u017a. In December, the number of hired engineers exceeded 200 persons. In 2017 the L\u00f3d\u017a Branch celebrated 5 years of operation on the local market. Currently Sii Poland hires more than 3 200 specialists in the country. <\/strong><\/p>\n

I remember when we were opening the branch in \u0141\u00f3d\u017a, and we declared to employ about 80 people at the time. Today, we are a team of 200 people. We owe this development to great technological experts, who participate in creating a Great Place To Work<\/em> \u2013 says Maciej Topczewski, Sii \u0141\u00f3d\u017a Branch Director. The company is planning a further increase in employment and is looking especially for back-end and front-end programmers, automatic and manual testers, system administrators and business analysts.<\/p>\n

The past year \u2013 2017,  was a time of intense development for the \u0141\u00f3d\u017a Branch of Sii. Expanding the team by 80 people forced the company to stretch the office space, which at the moment takes up 1500m2<\/sup> and 3 levels in the building at 79 Stefan Kopci\u0144ski  street. A comfortable and modern office is our calling card. We are pleased to host our customers in our office, who appreciate not only our seat but also the advantages of \u0141\u00f3d\u017a as a city. \u0141\u00f3d\u017a is one of a kind: rich infrastructure, a lot of qualified specialists and the residents\u2019 hospitality allow us to be optimistic about the development of Sii in this region of Poland<\/em> \u2013 adds Maciej Topczewski<\/p>\n

On a daily basis Sii engineers take part in technologically advanced projects for more than 200 clients who represent many sectors e.g.: financial, insurance, energy, telco, logistics, retail, aviation, hi-tech, media etc. Sii concentrates its technical competencies in Competency Centers. These units have a high level of specialization in specific areas and technologies like: Tests, Digital, SharePoint, Dynamics365, Business Intelligence, SAP, Salesforce, Legacy Systems, IT Operations, Engineering and Training.<\/p>\n

Sii offers its workers comfortable work conditions, puts pressure on worker development and supporting their passions. There\u2019s also a lot of team integration and CSR actions. Last year, \u0141od\u017a was involved in several projects which met the workers attention and engagement. The initiatives were linked to the  Sii Power Volunteers program e.g: \u201eShare Your Sii-Shirt\u201d or \u201eSii World of Fairytales\u201d. The aim of the last action was meant to create a book with fairy tales for kids by Sii workers. Every fairy tale was about one of the fifteen values of the Sii company. The entire income from the fundraiser was donated to the Dom Foundation in \u0141\u00f3d\u017a.<\/p>\n
