In September this year, Sii has opened an office in Cz\u0119stochowa, and at the beginning of October an office in Pi\u0142a and the Sii branch in Bydgoszcz will be established. The multiple Great Place to Work title winner will create several hundred new jobs in the coming months. The investment was possible thanks to the exceptionally dynamic development of the company in the previous year. Despite the record-breaking results, Sii does not plan to slow down, but rather to accelerate.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The previous year was a time of particularly dynamic development for Sii. Revenue growth on an annual basis remained at a record high level of 31%, yielding PLN 512 million in revenue. The development of the company was noticed by Computerworld magazine in its prestigious TOP 200 ranking, as well as Rzeczpospolita daily, awarding Sii two prizes \u2013 \u201cOrze\u0142 Rzeczpospolitej\u201d (Eagle of Rzeczpospolita<\/em>) and a distinction on the 500 List awarded to the largest and best companies on the Polish market.<\/p>\n

\u2013 The growth rate is very important, but it is crucial that it goes hand in hand with profit. It is the most important development indicator. Our revenues increased by PLN 122 million compared to the previous year, and we generated a profit at the level of PLN 50 million net, which allows us to invest, and it is precisely investment that is the driving force behind Sii, thanks to which we move forward. We also work for the leading position on the IT market in Poland, taking care of customer and employee satisfaction \u2013 says Gregoire Nitot, founder and president of Sii Polska.<\/p>\n

The financial results show that the strategy of reinvesting profits, as well as taking care of the continuous development of employees, has positive effects. It is implemented through the creation of new Competency Centres specializing in specific areas of technology. This year, another 3 specialised units have already been opened: SAP, BPO and Embedded.<\/p>\n

Four new locations in a year<\/strong><\/p>\n

2018 was also associated with the company\u2019s territorial growth. In January, the group of eight branches in Warsaw, Gda\u0144sk, Wroc\u0142aw, Pozna\u0144, Krak\u00f3w, \u0141\u00f3d\u017a, Lublin and Katowice, was joined by the ninth one in Rzesz\u00f3w. In September two new offices, in Cz\u0119stochowa and Pi\u0142a, will be opened, and in October also a new branch in Bydgoszcz.<\/p>\n

The first office which opened its doors to employees at the beginning of September is Cz\u0119stochowa. Its strategic location and extensive background of experts were the key factors of this decision, which Sii treats as an investment. The potential of the Cz\u0119stochowa market in the automotive industry is large due to the availability of qualified specialists with specialist knowledge, and the recruitment process includes, among others, specialists<\/a> with experience in the field of embedded systems and excellent knowledge of the automotive industry, including experts working in the AUTOSAR architecture. They will be implementing, for example, projects involving diagnostics in the system responsible for communication via Bluetooth, WiFi, LTE and USB, as well as the development of software dedicated to electric and hybrid cars.<\/p>\n

The eleventh location of Sii in Poland, which will initiate its operations in the middle of the month, is Pi\u0142a. The company\u2019s development in the Wielkopolska region is associated with the plans to employ automotive specialists. Experts in the field of engineering, such as PLC, constructors, robotics engineers and developers with an emphasis on the knowledge of front-end and Java technology may count on finding new jobs in Pi\u0142a<\/a>. The first projects in this location will concern the programming of controllers used in the production of e.g. gearboxes, engines and car bodies. Specialists will also have an opportunity to develop in projects concerning luggage sorting machines, glass conveyors and solar panels production.<\/p>\n

Equally ambitious plans for the future<\/strong><\/p>\n

Another investment in the development of Sii will be the opening of a branch in Bydgoszcz, which will take place on 1st<\/sup> October. By March 2019, it is planned to employ 40 specialists there and in the following year this number is to exceed 100. Although there are still two months left to the opening of the office in the state-of-the-art Immobile K3 building, Java, .NET and Embedded developers, as well as testers, are already sought after<\/a>. A back office team will also be created in Bydgoszcz, so apart from people with technical qualifications, recruitment specialists, business developers, administration and office management employees are also being recruited.<\/p>\n

Sii owes its leading position on the IT and engineering services market in Poland, in terms of growth rate, to its competitive advantage, i.e. one-stop-shop. It translates into great convenience for customers, as all IT and engineering services are provided by a single supplier. Currently Sii supports its clients in the scope of software development, IT infrastructure management, tests, service desk, training and engineering services. At present, the main objective is to develop the company\u2019s offer with new competence, such as business consulting.<\/p>\n

The pace of development is expected to remain at such a high level in the coming years. By the end of the financial year, Sii plans to generate the revenue of PLN 680 million and employ 4,100 specialists. However, the most important project of Sii Polska for the coming months will be the opening of the Sii branch in Sweden, which is the next step in the strategy of development of cooperation with customers from Scandinavia.<\/p>\n
