Sii Poland experts believe that the most effective way to acquire knowledge is first-hand \u2014 straight from practitioners. Therefore, in actions aimed at young talents, Sii reaches out to them by organizing lectures, workshops, and university meetings. The pre-holiday period is particular for these activities, as the company focuses on assisting students in selecting the right career path through the internship program. Candidates can also familiarize themselves with Sii’s daily work life through Open Days at offices and the Summer Talent Academy.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Summer Talent Academy <\/h2>\n\n

Applying skills in everyday work is just as important as the theoretical knowledge gained from classes, but combining internships with everyday learning can be demanding. That’s why, although the recruitment for internships at Sii Poland lasts all year, the company is again organizing its unique edition \u2014 the Summer Talent Academy.\u00a0This\u00a0is a chance to gain the first industry experience between June and September while on break from university classes.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n

The three-month paid internships at STA are an intensive course of putting skills into practice and a large dose of expert knowledge transfer. Under their supervision, students participate in projects as full-fledged members of diverse teams. They become part of the company, with the opportunity to participate in internal training, integrations, and charity events.<\/p>\n\n

\u2014 Thanks to my participation in Sii’s Summer Talent Academy, I put myself to work in IT in a structured and concrete way. The mentors who guided me during the internship helped me focus on the essential elements to complete tasks successfully. Thanks to working in a project team already as part of the internship, I gained real experience from the beginning. The open atmosphere in the office helped me quickly familiarize myself with the company and the people working there \u2014 says Maciej Kunin, Junior Software Engineer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

An internship is often the first step to a career at Sii \u2014 in 2023, 93 interns joined the company, and 75 continued working after 3 months. Recruitment for this year’s edition is underway, and all offers are available on our website<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n

Before applying for an internship, it is worth visiting the office, feeling the company’s atmosphere, and meeting the people working there. Every year, Sii opens its doors to candidates \u2014 this spring, in as many as 9 locations.<\/p>\n\n

Open Days were also an opportunity to deepen knowledge through technical and recruitment workshops. Experts introduced the topics of front-end and back-end developer work, agile methodologies, and Big Data. On the other hand, recruitment workshops focused on desired competencies in the labor market and learning how to present oneself appropriately at a recruitment interview. <\/p>\n\n

During individual consultations with industry specialists, candidates discussed their resumes and planned career paths. The first steps in a professional career can be challenging. That’s why Sii is happy to engage in activities that help young talents gain valuable experience while working on real projects and under the wings of qualified specialists. <\/p>\n\n
