As the platform evolved and new tools and applications were introduced, maintaining consistency across environments and enabling controlled releases required a well-structured and reliable IT foundation.
To establish it, Scalepoint decided to work with Sii as a technology partner experienced in building and maintaining infrastructure supporting enterprise-scale insurance solutions.
Building a stable and automated IT environment
Sii experts supported Scalepoint by combining infrastructure engineering and DevOps practices to build a reliable and scalable foundation for developing and delivering claims automation software.
Scope of work included:
- Supporting the development of claims automation software
- Maintaining the complete infrastructure landscape across Development, QA, Project, Stage, Test, and Production environments
- Designing and provisioning infrastructure at scale, with around 450 servers created as part of the client’s setup
- Implementing Infrastructure as Code to standardize and automate environment configuration
- Automating IT workflows used by the client’s operational teams
- Supporting database environments based on Microsoft SQL Server
- Maintaining Linux-based environments, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- Using tools such as Windows PowerShell, Puppet, VMware ESX Server, Hyper-V, and Azure DevOps as part of the infrastructure stack

By implementing Infrastructure as Code and automating IT workflows, Scalepoint established a standardized infrastructure supporting all development and production environments. This improved consistency across environments and enabled more efficient production and deployment processes.
