Rapid reinforcement of product teams
Companies operating in the digital media sector develop products that run continuously and are used daily by large numbers of users. This creates a constant need to deliver new features, respond to market changes, and maintain the stability of existing platforms. Any delay or downtime directly affects user experience and product perception.
In Startsiden’s case, the challenge was to scale development work while internal teams were already fully engaged in ongoing product tasks. Another important requirement was the smooth transition of projects previously handled by an offshore team – without losing domain knowledge, quality, or platform stability.
To avoid lengthy recruitment processes, the client decided to cooperate with Sii Poland, a provider of agile and scalable engineering teams for digital projects.
Dedicated engineering team supporting web platform development
Development of existing projects and support for new initiatives was delivered by a cross-functional team of Sii Poland experts, built in a model that allowed for a rapid start and flexible adjustment of competencies to the client’s evolving needs.
Scope of work included:
- Taking over projects previously handled by an offshore team
- Supporting new development initiatives in both frontend and backend areas
- Providing product and domain support for the development of web platforms
- Ongoing collaboration on portals such as abcnyther.no, zooom.no, and startsiden.no
The team continues to work on an ongoing basis, developing new features and supporting additional products within the Startsiden ecosystem.
Stable support for digital product development
The implemented collaboration model enabled Startsiden to increase the scale of development work without restructuring its internal teams or risking delays in key projects. The organization gained predictable engineering support that allows multiple product initiatives to run in parallel and improves long-term development planning.
From the perspective of product teams, the dedicated Sii team assumed part of the responsibility for platform development and maintenance, reducing the workload of internal teams and ensuring continuity of work. The smooth transition of projects previously handled by the offshore team preserved domain knowledge and avoided costs associated with re-onboarding and system stabilization.
The dedicated team model also allows the client to scale development efforts flexibly and plan long-term growth of its portals and applications.
