Building a sales platform ready for international expansion
Eastend was expanding its online sales operations. The growing number of sales channels created a need for a single system capable of managing the entire process, from the product catalog to order fulfillment and returns.
The company’s existing, internally developed solutions did not provide sufficient flexibility for entering new markets or access to the ready-made capabilities available in enterprise-grade platforms. Eastend therefore decided to implement Adobe Commerce as its central sales system.
The platform was selected for its extensive range of out-of-the-box business modules, broad integration capabilities with ERP and CRM systems and marketplaces, and the ability to support further development without requiring additional tools to be built from scratch.
Sii Poland was selected for the project because of its experience in comprehensive e-commerce implementations, covering everything from architecture and UX design to Adobe Commerce deployment and systems integration. A team of more than 250 e-commerce specialists, including over 50 Adobe-certified experts, delivered the project in an end-to-end model.
Implementing Adobe Commerce as the central sales system
Sii Poland implemented Adobe Commerce as Eastend’s new central sales platform, integrating it with the company’s key business systems and sales channels. The project was delivered by an interdisciplinary team responsible for business analysis, UX design, frontend and backend development, integrations, and performance optimization.
The scope of work included:
- Preparing UX wireframes and designing the store’s new user interface
- Migrating customer and product data to Adobe Commerce
- Integrating the platform with the existing CRM, ERP, and payment systems
- Integrating the platform with marketplaces, including Allegro and Amazon
- Optimizing the backend to improve store performance
- Implementing Responsive Web Design principles
The new platform enables Eastend to manage the entire sales process from a single administrative dashboard, from order placement and fulfillment to shipping and returns.
“Sii Poland’s experts impressed us with their extensive knowledge and experience. The migration of our store to Magento 2 was smooth and efficient. They not only delivered the technology but also supported us as a reliable partner at every stage of the process. Thanks to this collaboration, we are now technologically prepared for dynamic growth and international expansion.” – Artur Paluszyński, Chief Technology Officer, Eastend
Efficient sales management and readiness for international expansion
Centralizing sales processes within a single system simplified the management of the product offering, orders, and returns while providing greater control over operations. It also enabled the company to introduce new features more quickly.
For Eastend’s internal teams, the platform reduced the need to maintain multiple fragmented tools, shortened the time required to implement changes, and streamlined the management of integrations with business systems.
The new e-commerce architecture also improved the customer experience. The store now operates faster, while the product offering is consistently available across different markets and multiple sales channels.
Sii Poland was responsible for the entire project, from needs analysis and UX design to technology implementation, performance optimization, and support.
