As Frosta prepared to enter the Italian and Austrian markets, the company aimed to increase the flexibility of its ERP environment and ensure full operational scalability. Its existing SAP support model did not cover all critical system modules, limiting growth potential and making it harder to adapt to the increasing scale of operations.
To strengthen the foundation for expansion and secure business continuity, Frosta decided to transition its SAP S/4HANA support to the RISE with SAP model — a subscription-based approach in which SAP manages the infrastructure and system updates, while a technology partner takes over application support and system development in close collaboration with Frosta’s internal IT team.
Frosta entrusted Sii Poland with the ongoing maintenance of its ERP environment. Backed by a team of over 120 certified SAP experts and deep expertise in modern technologies such as SAP Fiori, Business Technology Platform (BTP), and Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), Sii provides Frosta with a stable, scalable ERP platform and long-term support for business development across Europe.
SEAMLESS TAKEOVER AND FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR SAP S/4HANA SUPPORT AND DEVELOPMENT
A dedicated SAP team from Sii — consisting of 6 functional consultants, 2 ABAP developers, and a BASIS administrator — smoothly took over system operations from the previous vendor. The team now delivers comprehensive management of Frosta’s SAP S/4HANA environment and ongoing application support.
Scope of responsibilities includes:
- Day-to-day issue resolution across Finance, Sales, and Production modules: Financial Accounting, Controlling, Sales and Distribution, Quality Management, Production Planning, HCM
- Support and development of the SAP Business Warehouse (BW)
- Maintenance and enhancement of WRICEF objects (Workflows, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms)
- Administration and development of SAP middleware (PO/PI) to ensure smooth integration with other systems
- Ongoing platform maintenance and updates, including implementation of modern technologies such as Fiori and CPI.
As part of the long-term partnership, Sii also performs annual SAP S/4HANA upgrades. To minimize business disruption, many of these activities are scheduled during evenings or weekends — a reflection of Sii’s flexibility and commitment to service quality.
