Centralized, cloud-based endpoint management across the organization
Faster onboarding through automated provisioning
Locally managed endpoints increased migration risk
In a global medical technology organization, endpoint management must support standardization, security, and operational control across distributed environments. In this case, local processes and systems made it harder for IT teams to manage devices consistently, standardize operating systems and applications, and maintain a unified security posture. With Windows 11 migration approaching, the company needed a scalable and automated model that would reduce operational complexity and create one clear framework for device provisioning and management. In response to these challenges, the client engaged Sii Poland to help build a centralized and secure endpoint environment.
One model for migration, management and security
To address both the migration challenge and the long-term management gap, Sii Poland delivered the engagement in two phases. First, Sii Poland upgraded eligible devices to Windows 11 in controlled waves to reduce rollout risk and maintain order during the transition. Then our experts implemented a modern device management model based on Microsoft Intune and Hybrid Autopilot, designed to centralize administration and reduce manual work for IT teams.
The scope of work included:
- Upgrading eligible devices to Windows 11 in controlled waves
- Implementing Microsoft Intune and Hybrid Autopilot
- Migrating 200 applications to the new management model
- Moving Group Policy Objects to the modern environment
- Automating device onboarding and provisioning
- Managing Microsoft Office within the centralized model
- Strengthening security with Center for Internet Security benchmarks
- Deploying Local Administrator Password Solution to improve administrator password security
As a result, the client gained one cloud-based endpoint management model instead of multiple local approaches. Device provisioning became more automated, device standards became easier to enforce, and security controls became more consistent across the environment.
A standardized device environment with less manual IT work
Sii Poland helped the client replace fragmented local processes with a centralized, cloud-based device management model. This gave the organization a more consistent operating environment, reduced the workload related to manual provisioning, and created a stronger foundation for managing devices at scale.
Automated provisioning through Hybrid Autopilot accelerated onboarding and improved lifecycle management, while the centralized model made it easier to standardize systems and applications across the organization. At the same time, Center for Internet Security benchmarks, modern security controls, and Local Administrator Password Solution improved compliance and strengthened the overall security posture.
