A global leader in the railway industry offering a complete portfolio of products and services, from high-speed trains, metro, monorails, and trams, to infrastructure, traffic control systems, and digital mobility solutions. The company is headquartered in France and currently operates in 70 countries with more than 70 000 employees.
The challenge
The pclient’s previous software was unfriendly to use, all data had to be entered manually. The goal was to create an Application Generator for the application of axle counters in railway infrastructure in order to:
- Ensure a collision-free movement of trains by determining the condition of track sections, switches or holding sections
- Provide this information to traffic control systems
What we did
- Conducted an analysis of the client’s needs
- Designed a new user interface
- Programmed the logic of placing axle counters on tracks and determining sections
- Delivered the full software for the system
- Together with the installation version of the application (including the sources), the customer received documentation and a test plan, which helped him to validate the product according to his internal requirements
- The system was created in close cooperation with the Product Owner
