We are looking for an experienced Embedded C Developer to join our team and work on innovative projects in the field of embedded systems. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining embedded software for various applications, utilizing your expertise in Linux and Yocto. This role offers a hybrid work environment in Cracow. Your tasks

Developing and maintaining embedded software for Linux-based systems
Implementing and optimizing build processes using Yocto
Writing scripts in Bash and Python for automation and testing
Utilizing Git for version control and collaboration on software projects
Debugging embedded Linux devices and troubleshooting issues
Working with the Linux kernel and systemd to ensure system stability and performance

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in embedded software or firmware development
Proficiency in Embedded C programming and general microcontroller experience
Hands-on experience with Linux and Yocto
Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash or Python
Experience with Git and understanding of Git submodules
Ability to debug embedded Linux devices and utilize Linux kernel features
Proficient in written and verbal communication in English

Nice to have

Experience with TCP/IP, UDP, CAN, UART, I2C, and SPI protocols
Familiarity with CI/CD setups such as GitLab CI or Jenkins
Experience working with remotely updated embedded devices
Knowledge of OSS licensing issues
Intermediate level of Polish

Rozwój i utrzymanie oprogramowania wbudowanego dla systemów opartych na Linuksie
Implementacja i optymalizacja procesów budowania przy użyciu Yocto
Pisanie skryptów w Bash i Pythonie do automatyzacji i testowania
Wykorzystanie Gita do kontroli wersji i współpracy nad projektami oprogramowania
Debugowanie urządzeń z systemem Linux i rozwiązywanie problemów
Praca z jądrem Linuksa i systemd w celu zapewnienia stabilności i wydajności systemu

Wymagania

Minimum 5-letnie doświadczenie w rozwoju oprogramowania wbudowanego lub firmware
Znajomość programowania w Embedded C oraz ogólne doświadczenie z mikrokontrolerami
Praktyczne doświadczenie z Linuksem i Yocto
Znajomość języków skryptowych, takich jak Bash lub Python
Doświadczenie z Gitem i zrozumienie submodułów Gita
Umiejętność debugowania urządzeń z systemem Linux i wykorzystania funkcji jądra Linuksa
Biegła znajomość języka angielskiego w mowie i piśmie

Mile widziane

Doświadczenie z protokołami TCP/IP, UDP, CAN, UART, I2C i SPI
Znajomość konfiguracji CI/CD, takich jak GitLab CI lub Jenkins
Doświadczenie w pracy z zdalnie aktualizowanymi urządzeniami wbudowanymi
Znajomość problemów związanych z licencjonowaniem OSS
