Tricentis Tosca is a low-code tool that enables you to design, execute, and analyze tests without writing traditional code. During the course, you will learn how to navigate Tosca Commander, configure the working environment from scratch, create tests using reusable components, execute test cases, and analyze test results.

What you’ll learn

Learn the Tosca Commander interface, including repository organization.
Understand what a module is in Tosca and learn how to scan web applications and work with standard modules.
Learn techniques for handling dynamic elements and tables.
Learn how to work with conditional statements and loops.
Use Reusable Test Step Blocks (RTSB) to build modular, maintainable test scenarios based on business parameters.
Prepare test data sets (Test Sheets) and learn how to generate test instances from them.
Create execution lists, run tests locally, analyze logs, and learn how to interpret test results.

Recommended prerequisites

A valid Tricentis Tosca license is required to participate in the training. The course is not designed for individual participants; it is intended for project teams that want to develop their skills and knowledge of the tool together.

Familiarity with the software testing process and a general understanding of web application architecture will be helpful. Experience with other test automation tools is welcome but not required.
