Sii Poland has been titled the largest IT services provider in Poland for the 4th time according to the Computerworld TOP200 report for 2022
The Computerworld TOP200 report has once again reviewed the condition of the Polish IT industry. Despite relatively difficult external conditions, the value of the ICT industry in 2022 increased by 13 percent and reached over PLN 100 billion. In this year’s edition of the report, Sii Poland maintained its 1st place in the list of the largest IT service providers by revenue criterion. What’s more, the company won also in 6 other categories, including outsourcing and managed services providers.
The Computerworld TOP200 report is a prestigious publication that has been summarizing the condition of the IT industry in Poland for 31 years, while simultaneously serving as the most important study and reference point on the ICT market and its leaders in individual segments.
In the 2022/2023 financial year, Sii Poland’s revenue increased by nearly PLN 500 million and reached PLN 1.88 billion. The achieved result guaranteed the company, for the 4th time, 1st place in the category of the largest IT service providers by revenue criterion. In addition, Sii Poland is the 3rd largest CIT payer in the IT industry and the 4th company with the highest net profit. In the ranking of the largest IT companies operating in Poland in 2022, it advanced to the 11th position.
In this year’s list, the industry that made the largest IT purchases turned out to be trade. Thus, it confirmed the thesis that through technological solutions it is possible to gain a competitive advantage. Revenues from the sale of solutions for this sector increased by as much as 29 percent to more than PLN 4 billion, and Sii Poland rose to 4th place in the ranking of the largest suppliers. In the previously dominant banking sector, with total spending of nearly PLN 4 billion, Sii ranked 3rd on the podium.
A spectacular jump in spending was recorded by the media industry – investments increased by as much as 83 percent, and Sii Poland ranked 2nd among suppliers.
Demand for IT services continues to grow. In the analyzed period, the headcount at Sii Poland increased by 865 people. Dynamic growth has again secured the company’s 2nd place in the category of IT companies with the largest workforce.
