About the client
mBank (former BRE BANK) is the third largest bank in Poland, operating on both the retail and corporate market.
The challenge
Within the framework of implementing the new system of electronic banking „new mBank”, an innovative gamification mechanism was launched to encourage clients to get to know the new system and to use the products.
What we did
We designed and created a very efficient gamification engine, which is a component collecting business actions from many channels in real time: transactional system, data warehouse, discount system, and processing these actions according to game rules.
We created also a console which enables graphic definition of the game rules.
Effects
- Achieved efficiency – processing 25,000 business actions per minute.
- Gamification is used in „new mBank” by around 3 million clients.
