We are looking for an experienced Kubernetes / OpenShift Technical SME to provide independent technical oversight of platform support services delivered by an external service provider in hybrid cloud environments. The role focuses primarily on Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms and combines technical governance, service quality assurance, architecture alignment, and continuous improvement. Acting as a trusted technical advisor and technology SPOC, you will validate technical decisions, review incident and problem resolution, assess platform stability and security, and ensure that support services meet enterprise standards and industry best practices.

Your tasks

Reviewing and monitoring technical support activities delivered by the external service provider
Validating incident resolution, troubleshooting approaches, workarounds, and remediation plans
Governing OpenShift and Kubernetes platform operations, architecture, upgrades, patching, and maintenance activities
Reviewing critical incidents, RCA reports, and corrective action plans to ensure sustainable resolutions
Assessing vendor performance and identifying technical risks, recurring issues, and service improvement opportunities
Advising stakeholders, architects, and vendor technical teams on platform operations, reliability, and best practices

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience with Red Hat OpenShift administration and operations in enterprise environments
Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized platforms, including production operations and troubleshooting
Hands-on understanding of hybrid cloud environments and managed Kubernetes services such as AKS, GKE, or EKS
Proven experience supporting or governing enterprise-scale production platforms and outsourced/managed services
Ability to review complex incidents, perform or validate root cause analysis, and challenge proposed technical solutions
Knowledge of ITIL Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes and service governance
Understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and industrial operations is beneficial

Nice to have

OpenShift Administration or Kubernetes certification
Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud certification
Experience in manufacturing, industrial automation, or smart factory environments
Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles
Exposure to DevOps, platform engineering, observability, monitoring, and automation practices
Previous work within global support organizations and managed service models

Przegląd krytycznych incydentów, raportów RCA i planów działań korygujących w celu zapewnienia trwałych rozwiązań
Ocena wydajności dostawcy i identyfikacja ryzyk technicznych, powtarzających się problemów oraz możliwości poprawy usług
Doradzanie interesariuszom, architektom i zespołom technicznym dostawcy w zakresie operacji platformy, niezawodności i najlepszych praktyk

Wymagania

Co najmniej 5-letnie doświadczenie w administracji i operacjach Red Hat OpenShift w środowiskach korporacyjnych
Silna znajomość Kubernetes i platform kontenerowych, w tym operacji produkcyjnych i rozwiązywania problemów
Praktyczne zrozumienie środowisk chmurowych i zarządzanych usług Kubernetes, takich jak AKS, GKE lub EKS
Udokumentowane doświadczenie w wsparciu lub zarządzaniu platformami produkcyjnymi na dużą skalę oraz usługami zewnętrznymi/zarządzanymi
Umiejętność przeglądania złożonych incydentów, przeprowadzania lub walidacji analizy przyczyn źródłowych oraz kwestionowania proponowanych rozwiązań technicznych
Znajomość procesów ITIL dotyczących incydentów, problemów i zarządzania zmianami oraz zarządzania usługami
Zrozumienie systemów wykonawczych w produkcji (MES) i operacji przemysłowych jest korzystne
