WHAT IS A TRAINING VOUCHER?
A training voucher is a guarantee to finance a training course selected by an unemployed person. It is a professional activation instrument that covers not only the course itself but often also travel expenses or necessary medical examinations.
Key facts about vouchers:
- Target Audience: Unemployed individuals registered with the PUP.
- Funding Level: Up to 100% of training costs (within the limit specified in the voucher).
- Goal: Gaining specific skills that are in demand by a future employer.
- Condition for Receipt: Awarding a voucher depends on the arrangements in the Individual Action Plan (IPD) and the probability that completing the training will lead to employment, other paid work, or starting your own business.

The amount of the voucher is determined by the PUP (usually it is an amount around 100% of the average salary). If the cost of the training exceeds the value of the voucher, the difference is typically covered by the participant.
You can obtain funding for almost any market training, provided it meets specific formal and purpose-driven conditions. New regulations place tremendous emphasis on the development of digital competencies:
- Programming courses (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript) and testing courses (ISTQB).
- Data analysis and cybersecurity.
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) training – utilizing AI tools in marketing, business, or administration.
- Graphic design (Adobe suite), UX/UI design, or operating specialized engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
Sii Poland (Sii Sp. z o.o.) is officially registered in the Development Services Database (BUR) as a certified Service Provider. Thanks to our active presence in BUR, public funding can be obtained for training organized by Sii Poland (including IT, engineering, Agile/Scrum project management, ISTQB, PRINCE2, or AI technologies) and completed using labor office funds.
