We are looking for an experienced Installation Manager to work on a nationwide implementation program in the public transport sector. You will be responsible for planning and executing the installation of modern technological solutions in city buses, collaborating with technical teams and subcontractors across multiple locations. Your task will be to ensure smooth coordination of all elements of the installation process, including vehicle availability, equipment, and trained teams. The role requires readiness for frequent travel and shift work. If you are someone with project management experience and want to impact modern solutions in public transport, this offer is for you.
Your tasks
- Planning and updating the installation schedule across multiple locations, including managing resources, changes, travel, and accommodation for teams
- Coordinating vehicle availability with operators and quickly rescheduling work in case of changes
- Managing subcontractors and field technician teams, including work assignment, performance monitoring, and corrective actions
- Verifying technician training and organizing additional training in case of quality issues
- Supervising the dismantling of old equipment, installation of new equipment, configuration, and commissioning
- Maintaining a consistent quality control system, including inspections and preventive actions
- Cost control and weekly reporting on progress, resource utilization, and risks
- Collaborating with operators, depot managers, and engineering, logistics, finance, and procurement teams
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in executing multi-site installation projects, field service, or equipment rollouts in the area of installation and modernization of devices
- Availability for international travel (Ireland) approximately 90% of the working time
- Experience in planning the work of technical teams across multiple locations simultaneously
- Competence in managing subcontractors and enforcing quality and performance
- Good project management skills: scheduling, resources, risks, dependencies, corrective actions
- Cost awareness regarding team performance, travel costs, downtime, and corrections
- Advanced knowledge of Polish and English
- Residence in Poland
Nice to have
- Knowledge of onboard systems: vehicle location (AVL/GPS), passenger information, ticketing systems
- Knowledge of vehicle electrical installations and experience in configuring, diagnosing, or commissioning systems
- Experience working with public transport operators
- Ability to use project management or resource planning tools
- PRINCE2, PMP, APM certification or equivalent

Twoje zadania
- Planowanie i aktualizacja harmonogramu instalacji w wielu lokalizacjach, w tym zarządzanie zasobami, zmianami, dojazdami i zakwaterowaniem zespołów
- Koordynowanie dostępności pojazdów z operatorami oraz szybkie przeplanowanie prac w razie zmian
- Zarządzanie podwykonawcami i zespołami techników terenowych, w tym przydział pracy, monitorowanie wydajności oraz działania naprawcze
- Weryfikacja przeszkolenia techników oraz organizowanie doszkoleń w razie problemów z jakością
- Nadzór nad demontażem starego sprzętu, montażem nowego, konfiguracją i uruchomieniem
- Utrzymywanie spójnego systemu kontroli jakości, w tym inspekcje i działania zapobiegawcze
- Kontrola kosztów oraz cotygodniowe raportowanie postępu, wykorzystania zasobów i ryzyk
- Współpraca z operatorami, kierownikami zajezdni oraz zespołami inżynierii, logistyki, finansów i zakupów
Wymagania
- Minimum 5 lat doświadczenia w realizacji wieloobiektowych wdrożeń instalacyjnych, field service lub rolloutów sprzętu, w obszarze instalacji i modernizacji urządzeń
- Dyspozycyjność do wyjazdów zagranicznych (Irlandia) w około 90% czasu pracy
- Doświadczenie w planowaniu pracy zespołów technicznych w wielu lokalizacjach jednocześnie
- Kompetencje w zakresie zarządzania podwykonawcami oraz egzekwowania jakości i wydajności
- Dobre umiejętności zarządzania projektem: harmonogram, zasoby, ryzyka, zależności, działania naprawcze
- Świadomość kosztowa w zakresie wydajności zespołów, kosztów dojazdów, przestojów i poprawek
- Znajomość języków polskiego i angielskiego na poziomie zaawansowanym
- Zamieszkanie w Polsce
Mile widziane
- Znajomość systemów pokładowych: lokalizacja pojazdów (AVL/GPS), informacja pasażerska, systemy biletowe
- Wiedza z zakresu instalacji elektrycznych pojazdów oraz doświadczenie w konfiguracji, diagnostyce lub uruchamianiu systemów
- Doświadczenie w pracy z operatorami transportu publicznego
- Umiejętność posługiwania się narzędziami do zarządzania projektami lub planowania zasobów
