The company demonstrates how it contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goal 8 (SDG 8), combining economic growth with investment in skills development, employment stability, and the responsible adoption of new technologies. 

Sii, Poland’s number one partner in technology consulting, AI-driven digital transformation, engineering, and business services, continues to expand its operations both domestically and internationally. In 2025, the company generated PLN 2.18 billion in revenue, while the total value of taxes and social security contributions paid since it began operations in 2006 exceeded PLN 2.2 billion. 

The company is also systematically strengthening its international presence. In addition to Poland, Sii operates in countries including Sweden, Ukraine, and India, and has recently expanded into Malaysia. Entering new markets enables the organization to broaden its cooperation with clients and lay the foundations for further growth. By supporting clients in digital transformation, innovation adoption, and operational efficiency improvements, the company contributes to the development of technology services and solutions. 

Decent work also means opportunities for growth 

Goal 8, “Decent Work and Economic Growth,” reflects Sii’s understanding of business development: stable growth built on responsibility towards people, skills, and the labor market. 

One of the key ways Sii contributes to SDG 8 is by creating a work environment that enables employees to develop their skills and take on new professional challenges without having to change employers. This approach is supported by Job Changer, an internal application that allows employees to move to a different project or role within the company. Over the past year, more than 220 employees have used this solution to pursue new career opportunities at Sii. 

The organization also operates an internal talent bench, which provides employees who finish their projects with time and support to find new assignments. This flexible approach is particularly important in the technology sector, where rapidly evolving tools, changing client needs, and emerging specializations require adaptability and continuous upskilling.

Over 27,000 hours of training and 10,000 hours of mentoring 

Skills development is one of Sii’s key areas of investment in its employees. In the 2025/26 financial year, the company delivered over 27,000 hours of training. Mentoring also plays an important role in professional development. Nearly 400 mentors provided a total of more than 10,000 hours of individual mentoring sessions, helping employees improve their skills, plan their career paths, and acquire new competencies. 

Artificial intelligence holds a particularly important place in the company’s development initiatives. In response to AI’s growing significance in business, Sii is expanding programs that support the practical and informed use of new technologies. Over the past year, the company recorded nearly 800 participations in AI-related training sessions and initiatives. 

At the same time, Sii emphasizes security and the responsible use of these technologies. One of the initiatives introduced is mandatory AI Security Awareness training, focused on the safe use of AI tools and data protection. 

Sustainable growth built around people 

Sii’s example demonstrates that contributing to SDG 8 goes beyond economic performance and job creation. It also involves establishing conditions that support long-term professional development. In the face of ongoing technological transformation and the increasing adoption of artificial intelligence, the company focuses on improving the quality of the work environment and adapting responsibly to change.

For the second consecutive year, Sii secured first place and was named the Best Workplace 2026 in the large companies category, demonstrating that initiatives and changes driven by employee feedback deliver tangible results.
