Responsibility in business has many dimensions. Sii’s projects recognized in the Responsible Business Forum report
18.06.2026
In the latest report “Responsible Business in Poland 2025. Good Practices” prepared by the Responsible Business Forum, five initiatives carried out by Sii were highlighted. This confirms that the company’s activities for employees, local communities, and the natural environment bring results and align with the idea of responsible business.
“Good Practices” is the largest annual review in Poland of corporate activities for sustainable development, prepared by the Responsible Business Forum (FOB) – a leading organization promoting the concept of responsible business. The publication shows how companies respond to important social and environmental needs and how they develop a responsible approach to management.
The ‘Good Practices’ we implement at Sii show that responsible business can include both support for local communities and environmental initiatives, as well as projects strengthening employee wellbeing and engagement. We are pleased that they have once again been recognized by the Responsible Business Forum. For us, this is not only a distinction, but above all a huge motivation to continue our efforts and develop initiatives that have an impact on people and the environment, says Aleksandra Kuna, CSR/ESG Manager at Sii Poland.
EcoNinja – small habits, big impact
In 2025, Sii launched the EcoNinja educational campaign aimed at increasing employees’ environmental awareness and supporting the implementation of the company’s decarbonization strategy. The initiative promoted everyday habits that help reduce the consumption of energy, water and other resources in the office environment.
In 14 Sii offices in Poland, markings featuring the eco hero EcoNinja appeared, encouraging employees to switch off unused devices, save energy and water, and reduce waste. The campaign included webinars on energy saving and recycling, an engaging employee contest and an EcoNinja company picnic in Gdańsk.
EcoNinja has become part of building a long-term culture of environmental responsibility at Sii, engaging employees in activities that support more conscious use of resources.
Sii shares the magic of Christmas – holiday support instead of gifts
In December 2025, Sii carried out its holiday charity campaign for the second time. Instead of traditional Christmas gifts, the company allocated PLN 200 000 to support charitable organizations selected by employees.
Employees from 16 Sii branches in Poland, Sweden, and Ukraine took part in the voting, choosing the organizations they believed needed the most support. Thanks to their involvement, the funds were donated to 13 organizations helping, among others, seniors, children, people with illnesses and disabilities, and animals. The largest support, amounting to PLN 60 000, went to the Senior w Koronie Foundation, which works for seniors living in poverty.
The initiative responded both to the success of the first edition of the program and to the growing employee engagement in social activities. Once again, the project showed that joint actions can effectively combine building employee engagement with addressing important social needs.
A birthday gift that helps
One of the initiatives that allows employees to engage in social activities in a simple way is the birthday program. Since 2024, employees have been able to donate the equivalent of their Sii birthday gift to support a selected social organization.
In 2025, more than 25% of eligible employees chose this option, thanks to which the company donated over PLN 80 000 to support five foundations working in the areas of health, social assistance, and animal protection.
For many employees, it is an opportunity to combine a personal celebration with helping those in need. The program allows employees to independently decide which social initiatives they want to support, strengthening their engagement and helping organizations that pursue important social goals.
Together for seniors – volunteering that builds relationships
As part of the Sii Power Volunteers program, the company carried out activities supporting seniors at risk of loneliness and social exclusion. The project was created in cooperation with the Warsaw-based Senior w Koronie Foundation, which supports seniors living in poverty on a daily basis.
Volunteers participated in a webinar on the challenges faced by people over the age of 75, helped prepare and deliver packages with food and hygiene products, and co-organized an intergenerational event “Dziady – meeting of worlds.”
Thanks to the involvement of employees, seniors received not only essential material support but also the opportunity to build relationships and take part in activities reducing the sense of loneliness. Meetings with volunteers and other beneficiaries of the foundation were for many of them a source of joy, an opportunity to talk and spend time together – something that is often lacking in the daily lives of older people. The project showed how much the presence of another person and building bonds between generations can change.
Sii Football Championship – sport, integration and healthy competition
In June 2025, the company organized the nationwide Sii Football Championship tournament, in which 115 players representing 10 Sii branches took part. The matches were played in a group and knockout format, and participants prepared for the tournament for many months, meeting regularly for training sessions in local teams.
The tournament was organized as part of the company’s Passion Sponsorship Program and was the result of an initiative from one of the employees, a football enthusiast. Thanks to the company’s support, he was able to fulfill his dream of organizing a nationwide Sii championship and develop as a project leader.
The competition also addressed challenges related to the sedentary work style typical of the IT industry. Weeks of preparation for the tournament motivated participants to engage in regular physical activity, and the event itself became an opportunity to integrate employees from different locations, build relationships and promote a healthy lifestyle.
