Despite the difficult situation worldwide, the second quarter of 2020 has brought Sii Poland exciting new projects.
Microsoft 365 implementation for SHV Energy
In April 2020, Sii Poland has completed a significant phase of the project with SHV Energy, a multinational group of energy companies. The company has decided to migrate their key systems to the cloud and launch a digital environment for efficient cooperation, as well as increase the level of security. Sii specialists have carried out the process of migration and adoption of Microsoft 365 solutions. Modernization of the electronic payment engine for a subsidiary of Ingenico Group
Due to great recruitment capacity, Sii has built the team in Gdańsk for a subsidiary of Ingenico Group, outperforming the client’s local vendor in the Netherlands. Since March 2020, the team has been performing code refactoring and developing new features.
This is not the only business brought to Poland by Ingenico Group. Another project for the Dutch electronic payment leader was transferred from another vendor in India, started in May, with 18 Sii specialists onboard.
Expanding the cooperation to over 40 engineers with an American financial services leader
An American investment and managed financial services company expanded the cooperation with Sii Poland. The engineering team working for the client includes now 48 specialist. In the meantime, the team has finished two previous projects: first connected with the rebuilding of reporting application due to old technology stack and security bugs, and second, the workflows manager – new, greenfield application, part of company’s digital transformation program.
Leading MES solution for a global industrial automation leader
The German subsidiary of American industrial automation company entrusted Sii with project to support the development of one of the client’s main products, a leading MES solution (Manufacturing Execution System) for pharmaceutical industry. The team of 12 engineers started work from Sii site in Bydgoszcz in May.
IDMS system update for a global healthcare group
Sii Poland has just won a new project for German medical group. The scope of services provided by Sii’s Digital Competency Center involves the maintenance of the Integrated Database Management System and its upgrade to the newest version. The IDMS system is used to monitor the quality of water supplied for dialysis in real time. The system has been developed since 2015.
24/7/365 Global ServiceDesk for office products supplier
A leading American provider of office equipment was looking for a new partner to build a dedicated global helpdesk team with ServiceNow development support. They decided to entrust Sii Poland with the scope of 24/7/365 Global ServiceDesk & Network Operations Centre and ServiceNow Support services, along with continuous improvements, for 16 countries. The project has started in June.
BI processes analysis for Baxter International
In March 2020, Sii Poland started a cooperation with Polish subsidiary of Baxter International, a Fortune 500 American healthcare company. Sii performed the analysis of data for further business reporting and compared them with corporate standards.
Implementation of Data Warehouse for Boekestijn Transport
The Dutch international logistics company, was struggling with data integration and sourcing. Experts from Sii’s BI Competency Center proposed a suitable solution – a Data Warehouse system integrating information from many sources. The second step will be to establish a reporting system based on Power BI and development of KPI reports for financial controlling.
Data management architecture for a European leader in geotechnical solutions
Sii Poland has extended the cooperation with a European leader in compression systems and geotechnical solutions. Sii specialists offer support acting as consultancy and implementation team in two fields: first one is Microsoft Dynamics 365 – Business Central ERP system; second one includes Power BI data reporting in the field of finance and controlling.
Establishing cooperation with Itelligence AG
The project included system upgrade to SAP S/4HANA for the end customer from the construction sector. By expanding their team with Sii experts, Itelligence AG has a chance to complete the project on the scheduled date.
