We are looking for a Scrum Master – Team Manager who will join our team working in Gdańsk. You will collaborate with distributed teams of Scalepoint, which delivers software and services to Europe's leading insurance companies – helps them to optimize their business and offers a better customer experience. Dedicated cloud solutions automate the claims processes, reduce damage costs and ensure a simple and quick handling of the damage.  

Within last year Scalepoint has delivered over 50 solutions and processed over 1 million claims. Our company employs around 160 employees, from 11 nationalities spread across our offices in Copenhagen, Poland and Switzerland. We are claim geeks and have worked within the claim area for more than 15 years. 63% of them ride a bicycle to work. 42% eat vegetarian lunch. 38% are parents. And 52% do not work out on a regular basis. Our unofficial and self-declared Minister of Sports tries to create a movement by introducing soccer and running club. However, that might not change the fact that we have a very generous attitude to sweets and cake. But that’s ok because we do have a lot to celebrate at Scalepoint. 

• Organizational/administrative part: facilitation of sprint plannings/groomings/demos/retrospectives, solving impediments, configuring and supporting scrum artifacts (Jira), coordinating releases, tracking KPIs, planning vacations etc.
• Communication/coaching part: managing stakeholders, coaching the teams, challenging and improving the process, enabling cross-team communication
• Management part: ensuring retention and motivation of the team members, conducting 1on1s, providing feedback and coaching, integrating team members, resolving conflicts, improving teamwork, maintaining good team spirit, supporting and implementing strategic goals

• Experience being a Scrum Master/ Agile Coach
• Excellent communication skills 
• Very good English is a must 
• Servant leadership mindset 
• Personal discipline, order, responsibility, positive attitude
• Passion for Agile software development and enabling the teams to self-organize to deliver valuable software
• Strong understanding of Agile approaches (including but not limited to Scrum), values and principles
• Experience managing distributed teams 
• Experience with modern approaches is a plus - continuous delivery, DevOps, TDD, ATDD
• Software development background (any specialty)
• Experience with administration of Agile tools (such as Jira)
• Ability to travel frequently to  Denmark and other cities in Poland 
• Ability to work from Gdańsk
