In our interview, she reveals how the company takes care of the satisfaction of its Workers and attracts talent with an extraordinary benefits offer that distinguishes Sii in the job market. Does the number of over 50 benefits distinguish Sii from other companies?
Absolutely! Our diversity makes Sii a unique workplace. How do Workers’ opinions influence the functioning of the benefits system?
At Sii, we focus on the satisfaction of our Workers. We listen carefully to their voices and make changes that really matter. Each Worker has the opportunity to express their opinion through various channels – from the “Ideas and Improvements” application, through monthly surveys, to annual reviews. Moreover, the Great Place to Work survey is a key source of information about our Workers’ satisfaction. For example, last year we received valuable suggestions regarding the change of the benefits platform. Based on them, we resumed cooperation with MyBenefit from October 1st, and we received very positive feedback in the first few days.
We also don’t forget about ideas that come up during lunch or coffee breaks. Besides large projects, we take care of small improvements every day that complement a holistic approach to managing a company’s benefits system.
Staying on the topic of the Great Place to Work survey, in which Sii has participated for over 10 years, which benefits were rated the best in the last survey?
The results of the Great Place to Work survey clearly show that Profit Sharing is our star! This unique benefit involves sharing the profit generated by Sii in a given fiscal year with the Workers. It’s rare in the market – an additional annual bonus, regardless of the position held!
The last survey showed that our Workers also highly appreciate Communities, which promote collaboration and integration.
Communities, i.e., groups connecting people with common passions and interests, are another area you are involved in. Can you tell us more about them?
This benefit really sets us apart in the job market. Our interest groups are a real space for developing skills – from technical, through sports, to less obvious ones like winter swimming or a love for vintage.
I’m sure each of our Power People will find something for themselves, and if not – nothing stands in the way of creating a new group. Thanks to recent improvements, such as increasing the annual budget to 900,000 PLN and intensified promotional activities, Sii already has 39 global and over 120 local groups! It’s not just about development, but also a great opportunity for integration – join us and discover your passions!
How does Sii support the functioning of Communities and what is your role in this process?
First and foremost, by investing in and promoting activities within Communities. We offer the possibility of organizing meetings and training sessions in our offices, if the nature of the Community allows it. Community leaders can count on the support of the Event Department, which helps organize meetings, catering, or find attractive sports offers.
My role focuses on the global coordination of this dynamic area. When a Worker expresses the desire to create a group, I take over and handle the further process. I assign tasks depending on the type of group to ensure everything runs smoothly. I also take care of promoting Communities by organizing events such as Communities Days. I am in charge of updating the page dedicated to theme groups, and I am currently working on a new dashboard. We are also planning a new version of the page and a film about benefits and Communities. As you can see, a lot is happening, but I must admit that it drives me and makes me feel alive.
What role do you think Communities and other Sii benefits play in building employee satisfaction, which is one of the company’s 5 strategic goals?
Thanks to Communities, Workers can build relationships, share knowledge, and develop passions together, making them feel more engaged and integrated with the company and the team. But that’s not all! We focus on development, offering numerous training sessions, courses, and mentoring programs, in which Workers share their experiences and skills. What are the future prospects for benefits at Sii Poland?
At Sii, we continuously develop and improve our benefits to adapt to the changing needs on the market. Their health and well-being are our priority, which is why we plan to review and improve medical packages and introduce initiatives promoting a healthy lifestyle.
Which benefits available at Sii do you personally use the most as our Worker?
All of them! (laughs) Currently, I am most excited about the effects of changes in the group insurance area, which we have been working on for the past few months. We managed to introduce really beneficial changes, and from January 1, 2025, a new, improved policy will start.
I must admit that I didn’t use this benefit before. After analyzing the conditions, I signed up for the program. The refreshed offer and new variants really encouraged me. Working on this project, I thought it would be inappropriate not to be its beneficiary! 😊 I hope we attract new people because the new policy addresses many reported needs, including the extremely important concern for mental health.
Finally, please tell us the story of your career path at Sii. You joined the company over 6 years ago as a Procedures Assistant. How do your early career experiences help you in your current role?
During my first years at Sii, I got to know the company’s internal processes, facts about the organization, and I also learned effective communication and cooperation with diverse teams. Initially, benefit topics filled a small part of my duties. Thanks to the experience gained, now I can better understand the needs of Workers and strive to tailor the benefits offer to their expectations.
I have come a long way in the company – it would take too much time to talk about every position, but since October 2023, I feel I have found my place in the HR department. Together with a great Team, we strive to constantly improve the benefits area and surprise our Workers. In the end, I would like to add that benefits are my true passion, and working at Sii is a source of joy and satisfaction for me. I am happy to be part of the community created by Power People!
