“Good Practices” report is an annual initiative organized by the Responsible Business Forum (FOB) – Poland’s largest organization promoting the idea of responsible business and sustainable development. The purpose of the competition is to collect and disseminate examples of companies’ activities in the area of CSR and ESG.
Each year, companies from all over Poland can submit their projects, initiatives and activities responding to social, environmental or ethical and responsible management challenges. On June 10, 2025, the recognized initiatives were listed in the 23rd edition of the Good Practices Report.
What Sii activities have been recognized?
For the next consecutive year, Sii Poland has joined the evaluation of its CSR and ESG activities and has been recognized for five Good Practices. Here are the projects that were recognized by the Responsible Business Forum:
#SiiBiegaDobrze – sports with a mission
As part of the #SiiBiegaDobrze challenge, as many as 75 Sii employees took part in the 46th Warsaw Marathon and the Warsaw 10km run, combining their passion for running with helping oncology patients. Participants benefited from individual training plans and joint online workouts led by professional running coach Joanna Dorociak.
The result of their involvement was not only the realization of athletic goals – including participation in their first competitions and beating their own records – but most importantly raising more than PLN 68 000 for the Rak’n’Roll Foundation!
The project pursued two of Sii’s five key goals: Workers Satisfaction and Fun. It was also a great opportunity for the Workers to integrate with the team and develop sports passion in the spirit of solidarity and help.
Christmas magic with Power People – help instead of a gift
In response to the growing interest in volunteering and charity among our Workers, Sii has changed the Christmas gifts tradition in 2024. Instead, Workers donated PLN 200 000 to charities nominated by employees in a company vote.
Each site was able to pick the local charity organizations, knowing their needs and their scope of work. After that, all Workers voted for the initiatives they wanted to support. As a result, the funds went to where help was really needed.
The biggest financial support went to the Children’s Home in Klodzko, which was affected by the flood in 2024. We also helped organizations supporting children, hospices and foundations working for humanitarian aid in Ukraine. Part of the funds also went to support the treatment of our Workers and their loved ones.
Help for foundations – even on birthday!
Celebrating a birthday brings joy – and at Sii it can be doubled. Each Sii Worker celebrating their birthday can choose a gift that makes him or her happy, such as a voucher to a bookstore, movie tickets, a voucher to a Sii gadget store, a subscription to streaming platforms or audiobooks. From 2024, Workers can also choose to make a gift of donation to a foundation of their choice, supporting an area that is particularly close to their heart.
Among the available options there are: health, social welfare and animal protection organizations. This unique gesture is growing in popularity – in 2024, nearly 20% of employees who took part in the campaign chose to make a gift in the form of a donation, enabling them to donate more than PLN 50,000 to five foundations.
It’s an initiative that combines individual joy with real support for those in need, and is a great example of how sharing can change the world for the better.
Cyber security for the youngest and seniors – intergenerational education
Sii is conducting dozens of actions in support of Power Kids! The Responsible Business Forum recognized the initiative carried out by Power People on the occasion of European Cyber Security Month. Sii Gdańsk organized a workshop for employees’ family members: their parents and children.
The educational sessions were attended by 35 Power Kids and 24 seniors, who were able to better navigate the digital world thanks to the training. During the workshop, an expert from Sii Poland talked about online threats and data protection methods in an accessible way.
Helping people in crisis of homelessness
As part of the Sii Power Volunteers program, in 9 sites of the company in Poland, Workers conducted a collection of clothing, underwear and accessories necessary to survive the winter for people experiencing homelessness. For every kilogram donated, Sii gave PLN 45 to the organizations, including Daj Herbatę, Serce Torunia and Gy Dziung Norbu. The total sum of donated money was PLN 23 000. In addition, Sii Power Volunteers actively participated in cooking and serving meals and took part in a webinar on the scale and causes of homelessness in Poland.
These initiatives are more than CSR – they are an expression of Sii core values and a response to the needs of the community. We are pleased that they have once again been recognized by the Responsible Business Forum – says Aleksandra Kuna, CSR/ESG Manager at Sii Poland. – The report “Responsible Business in Poland. Good Practices” is the largest review of ESG and CSR activities in Poland. To be included in it is not only an honor for us, but also a motivation for further action – she adds.
