Now we’re looking for an API Automation Tester for our client – a successful international company, leader in the home and professional appliances markets in Stockholm.

• Being responsible for API testing automation to support API-first approach
• Using the knowledge about the software internals and integrations between multiple applications, debugging issues, and writing automated tests with scripting and automation tools
• Being an individual contributor, capable of taking up tasks from start to end with minimal assistance
• Assisting in implementing and maintaining a continuous testing process
• Ensuring that API quality gates are in place (documentation, standards, templates, etc.)
• Participating in the design and specification reviews sessions, and using the acquired information to design test scripts
• Promoting quality by automation with the use of tools and best practices

• Experience with JavaScript or similar
• Familiarity with Postman
• Skills in microservices testing (REST)
• Experience with Git
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and tools
• Expertise in CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps or similar is a plus
• Experience in performance and/or security testing is a plus
